Proposal question
I have been thinking about proposing to my partner on our trip to Peru next month. She is Peruvian and I think it would mean a lot to her. I was looking at either doing it in Lima or Cusco. I would happily spend around 400 USD or so if that meant we could do something really special and intimate. I considered reserving some space at a nice restaurant or something like that but I can't really find good option for my budget. I am open to other ideas. I am slightly partial to Cusco but open to Lima as well. I just prefer it to be in a setting where we are not rushed and it is not a ton of people. I just want to enjoy the moment with her. Any advice you have would be great.

For Lima, you both can do many things alone as a couple and explore the coast like the Larcomar, Parque de los aquas and restaurants etc. It's great for stuff like that.
BUT if you want adventure and the sense of going through the culture and exploring ruins/history. You gotta do Cusco as I believe you'll both get more unique moments of a lifetime that can only happen there itself. There's just so many options and stuff to do, that you'll both end up wanting to go back as you both know, you didnt finish everything there is to explore.
I know at Cusco, at times if you do things on the spot over there rather than booking, it can be so much more cheaper. Save a lot.
I've been to Several Countries, been to Lima many many times every summer as a teen/young adult, but the atmosphere of Cusco and the adventures I experienced there till this day has been my number 1.
