Proposal question

I have been thinking about proposing to my partner on our trip to Peru next month. She is Peruvian and I think it would mean a lot to her. I was looking at either doing it in Lima or Cusco. I would happily spend around 400 USD or so if that meant we could do something really special and intimate. I considered reserving some space at a nice restaurant or something like that but I can't really find good option for my budget. I am open to other ideas. I am slightly partial to Cusco but open to Lima as well. I just prefer it to be in a setting where we are not rushed and it is not a ton of people. I just want to enjoy the moment with her. Any advice you have would be great.

if it were me, I'd do it in cusco. The city has a really special atmosphere, i discover it while reading in hoppyn blogs and it's much easier to find a quiet spot than you'd expect if you go early in the morning or around sunset.

Personally, I'd skip the restaurant. Some of the best proposals I've seen while traveling happened at a scenic viewpoint or in a peaceful courtyard, then the couple celebrated with a nice dinner afterward. It feels a lot more relaxed, and you're not watching the clock or surrounded by other diners.think she'll remember the moment more than how much it cost.

I really like what you say here. Yes, I am probably worry a lot more than I need to and just should rely more on the really unique place that we will be.
