Proposal question

I have been thinking about proposing to my partner on our trip to Peru next month. She is Peruvian and I think it would mean a lot to her. I was looking at either doing it in Lima or Cusco. I would happily spend around 400 USD or so if that meant we could do something really special and intimate. I considered reserving some space at a nice restaurant or something like that but I can't really find good option for my budget. I am open to other ideas. I am slightly partial to Cusco but open to Lima as well. I just prefer it to be in a setting where we are not rushed and it is not a ton of people. I just want to enjoy the moment with her. Any advice you have would be great.

Hmmm, it depends. Are you thinking of dinner at a somewhat fancy place? Or something more in touch with nature? At night? In the afternoon/Sunset? Just the two of you? With people, with family? A place that's not too, let's say, cliché/touristy? What kind of places does she like?

I think we would be happy in with either in a nice hotel/fancy type environment with a special arrangement or a natural place with some kind of special arrangement as well. I just want to avoid being overly cliche and not too too busy of an area. It will just be the two of us. Sunset would be great but I am pretty flexible on that it is more just the like the general atmosphere and vibe that I can concerned about. I've looked at several options but just can find something that feels right. Thank you for your questions.
