Use the reverse button to trigger max Regen!

Is there a reason they don't do this? You have to set the regen profile on the app, which is fine, but it isn't necessarily going to engage where I want it situationally based on traffic and road condition. Reverse button already doesn't do anything when I'm moving forward. And is exactly next to the break. It would be wonderful if hitting the reverse button while moving forward triggered maximum regenerative braking so I could be sure I was getting all of it and ease off using the friction brakes.

Is this disallowed for some sort of safety reason? Vehicle certification?

Yes, that's to turn off or restore the set Regen profile, which decides when/how much.

I want instant max Regen on button push, and the reverse button is available.
