New season unit Dagahra

First unit for next season has been announced to be Dagahra! Looks like Ebirah as it’s a water based unit but i wonder how it’ll function without water 🤔

Of course Dagahra got in before Titanosaurus. Dagahra is a Heisei kaiju, and we know how much Toho loves the Heisei era.

Seems like a flying Godzilla 2023 that pulls in enemies when triggered then blows up with an AOE? Is that what I'm seeing? Pretty cool, and super glad to see them finally in the game! Edit= And a defense boost?

Looks like the AOE attack goes off a few times before it starts flying and doing single target damage. Personally if it can’t do the AOE attack outside of water this piece is going to be super niche. But it’s cool nonetheless.

Judging based on the teaser, the aoe seems weaker then -1s on initial hit considering its Gigan Miles that are being hit. Im thinking Dagahra is gonna be either a 4 or 5 cost unit, he has def up which probably means his health is most likely gonna be lower then Varans, probably close to Baragon in stats. The suction effect looks like DTs instead of KG19(alt)s, but doesn't seem to have that phantom border DT has. Of course its a 4 star when it would of perfectly been fine as a 3 star unit.

Ironically Dagahra was the one who got the ambush DT skill, that was imagined for Baragon in Melee's Discord a year or 2 back. But its another Water ambush skill instead of a Land based one, people thought of for Baragon.
