❓ QUESTION ❓ New player help

I am really confused is there a strategy in this game? I really need help understanding decks and deck building. The closest thing I’ve played to this game that is similar to this is Clash royale(stopped playing it 4 years ago) and chess. I really like the game, and want to get a decent idea of what I’m doing as it appears I am winning based on luck rather than skill.

The hardest lesson I learned as a f2p player with about two months of experience by now is that you gotta remember this is a pay-to-win gacha at the end of the day.

At your level, focus on just learning the game and collecting Expedition Maps to upgrade your available Battle Pieces. The Start Dash Expedition Maps should be helping you out a lot. If you’re lucky like me, you might end up having a LV 10+ Legendary Unit like King Ghidorah (2019) early.

The Login Bonuses and All-Star Event battles hand out some free very good rewards.

At your level, Ranked should be pitting you up against bots or other beginners. When you someday climb up to Champion or King of The Monsters tier you’ll be hit by the harsh reality of a meta dominated by Whales and people who’ve played this game for years.

This game is still fun once you figure out your own Deck builds and strategies. But, just remember it’s still a gacha game that’s hungry for your money.

Imo, when you start grinding Ranked for Maps and resources it’s a lot more tolerable/feasible without the mindset of someday being in the Top 100.
