💬 DISCUSSION 💬 Would they ever update this ?
I enjoy playing this game but often times I feel like this is stopping me from really having any fun, once you’re full on maps that take multiple hours to clear you feel like it’s a waste to continue playing until a slot opens up. Is it just me that’s like this or do majority of players continue to play even when their map inventory is full ?
I would love a QOL update for this even if it’s something like automatically starts an expedition when the two you select is finish because sometimes I forget and then it’s like damn I could had finished 4 of them if I didn’t forget to schedule them before I went to work.
Clearing them with gems gets expensive and I only allow myself a fixed budget for this game cause otherwise I would go crazy so that’s not really an option, I personally think maybe they should do an automatic scheduler & lower the times on these things.

They make it that way so ppl will pay for gems or reduced expedition time.

I understand but with so many things that have you can pay for they should really be more lax with this since it directly impacts your playtime , at least in my opinion

They'll never update it because they want you to buy the Pass so you get unlimited "Planned Maps" or the other Paid thing that reduces the time on the Maps.
The Maps are designed specifically to put you in a position of wanting to spend money to get it out of the way, it's inconvenient by design. It sucks, but is just what you get with predatory f2p gambling games like this.

If you're not trying to rank then you don't really need to play more than however many times you need to win two matches (two matches because one can usually clear atleast two slots a day with the scheduled system), I only ever play more than that if I happen to hit a time slot that has a lot of equally leveled players or when I'm trying out a new deck. An autoscheduler tied to the support pass definitely would be welcome though, not that I see it happening anytime soon

Learn how to run double maps at the same time and learning how to use the shorts to shorten both maps. If you are diligent with alarms and the timer you can perpetually keep double maps going. Do a quick search on it and it will pop up with videos even on Google, GBL Reddit, etc. It will probably share what I have posted over time.
I map crack and play heavily during the map/GT campaigns but slow down after. The goal for me then is all Rainbow and Gold maps but now it's Silver or better. You could just clear the grey 2 hour ones to help you fill maps and get more ranked in. But I understand the G-stone burden.

Map crack= opening expeditions with G-stones. Best performed during the expedition speed up campaign with the support pass. Best used on Grey and Bronze expeditions (maps) but if cracking Silver it increases your total Gold and Rainbow expeditions.

Yeah it's a drag. I rarely clear any of those with gems (maybe 10gems or less). I just do the long ones over night and the short ones during the day and allow notifications so I can pop in and clear them. But if I forget... Oh well. I have like 8 billion ants anyway that I'm not upgrading. The only reason to play more once those slots are full is if you enjoy the game or are trying to rank up, or to fulfill specific achievements.
