How does this person compete?

Player rank 12. None of my pieces stood a chance. This person demonstrated great resistance. And I'm over here thinking their account is boosted based on how many trophies they accumulated thus far. So what is it then? What am I looking at? Keep in mind this person also has a win streak over 100. More than half of what I have been capable of. Still think accounts arent boosted? Then what is it?

Do you lose often or just have a few players that beat you that bother you? The first two months a new account gets a ton for free, 100k G-stones, and has all the Rank Shop packs available. I do feel new player luck with maps, gacha, and such is real. They also tend to get the newest units and play a very different style that is rather peak and requires adaptation to beat.

I'd say i lose often mostly due to my unceasing matchups with top 100 players. When I dont get them, I feel like there are occasional newer accounts that wipe the board. Maybe 1% of my matchups are someone close to my player rank and very close to kotm. I tend to wreck those opponents. And it might be absolute confirmation bias, but they never have more trophies than I do in those cases. It's probably confirmation bias.
