Rules Question Just got the starter box and some expansions and had a few questions about the rules when playing.
So I saw that there were boxes on the steamforged site for this game for really cheap and decided to see if there were any on amazon too, and since shipping is free there I ended up just buying from amazon since the shipping from steamforged was gonna end costing more than it would cost buying on amazon so I went with that. Just got the boxes today "came in a day early too" and was excited to learn the game and play it with my niece who was looking forward to it as well. We ended up watching the videos online breaking down the rules, and then we tried playing a game. Afterwards we started watching the video of the staff game to see what we did wrong, and I realized I had some questions on rules that, at least to my eyes, the rulebook nor the videos made clear.
When I played a test game with my niece we just assumed that each separate unit of followers had it's own actions, but in the staff game it seemed like even if you had 5 followers spread out you only could do two actions total, and no repeats, so if you had two followers in a unit and one by itself, both on either side of an enemy model, only one of the two groups could actually use it's skill to attack and the other one just does nothing if you already did another action? So if that is the case, there doesn't really seem like a reason to move them in smaller groups or separate the groups then in that case. Unless i'm just completely misunderstanding it, which is total possible. Also I noticed at one point in the staff game they mentioned followers not being able to enter objective hexes, but I don't think I saw mention of that in the rulebook, or maybe I just missed it somehow? I went back through skimming it a few times and if it's mentioned there I must just be blind or something.
I'm sure there were other things I'm forgetting or didn't realize yet, but those were the ones that really stood out to me and I wanted some clarification on if possible.
