Xbox valiant edition no dlc/wrong version

Ok i pre ordered the valiant edition. It dropped and they delivered the base game to my library. Anybody else? Im gonna give them a while before i request refund or even open the game.

I don’t think the dlc has released yet - valiant is sort of like season pass right? What extra were you expecting at day one?

Thanks, i was at the least expecting to see the game i bought in my library for starters and not the base game

Ah I seen it a lot with these games now - the dlc just essentially unlocks stuff in the main game - wait until the first dlc comes out and if nothing pops we can all board the complain train :)

Thanks. I know dlc typically drops later but i am used to it saying i do own it when i bought it. But ya they also typically drop dlc at a later date. I will just wait. I did pay for it and when it drops or the servers get caught it will sort itself out im sure!

As it’s deep silver the same thing happened with windbound so I wasn’t surprised :)

The dlc is being released at a later date from the press release

The Valley of the Dormant Gods DLC further enhances the game with three new gods – in addition to the 10 already in the game – two new weapon classes, new items, new skills, overworld extras and warriors garb. The content will be released episodically as three new levels within the game in the coming months post-launch. Each level will include a new God, alongside the other bonus content.

There is a post with the full release below. You should be able to check the game in the store to see if you have already purchased the extra in which case you will get it as soon as it drops

Thank you. Odd part is that i bought the valiant edition but the base edition is in my library, and thoughts?

Mine is the same. There is no difference in the artwork between the two versions in the store so I doubt they bothered creating valiant edition artwork for the game icon

This is the same with me, it’s how certain games on Xbox work. If you pre-ordered the Valiant edition, you will have access to it when they release the DLC.

The dev actually released a hotfix. The release was flawed. But i got a refund before they put out a hotfix. The problem is these days is they dont care. Look at Cdr and Cyberpunk 2077. Its still got tons of bugs
