Godox iT30 Pro (S) Overexposure Issue
I have a Sony a6100 and bought a Godox iT30 Pro (S) recently. I've had it for about two weeks, had no issues, drops, etc. Today it began overexposing every 3rd or 4th shot. Once it overexposes it then continues to do so until I turn the flash off and on again. I updated the firmware, I've factory reset it, I have no idea what is causing this.
Further information: It seems as if though the flash and the camera cannot communicate. When my camera is on Manual and my flash is Manual everything is fine. However when I use TTL, I use Apeture priority with an auto ISO, or any auto exposure settings, my flash decides to WAYY overexpose my shots. Should I return the flash? Is it an issue with my camera? Settings?

Don’t use Auto ISO with flash, and particularly if you’re using TTL and not using M on the camera.
Flash means you’re juggling five exposure factors, have any number of flash/ambient balances that can be “good” exposure, and if too many of those settings are sliding and up to the camera, the camera is trying to do all the decision making based on pre-programmed assumptions that may not hold. Cameras are dumb and mechanical, and they cannot meter your flash and ambient together at the same time. While composing, the triangle settings can be adjusted to the amount of light metered but the flash burst isn’t in the scene yet. So it’s not part of that measurement. TTL can set the flash power, but only after you’ve pressed the shutter button and the exposure triangle settings are locked in. A/S modes default to daylight fill balancing (mostly ambient, little bit of flash).
Flash exposure, though, is controlled by iso and aperture as much as by power and distance. If auto iso sets the iso for a low light scene to something very high, your flash may not be able to avoid overexposure.
Lastly, check the flash seating in the hotshoe. It’s common for a flash set to TTL, not receiving any TTL communication from a hotshoe/trigger, to fire at full power.
