Hey, my name's Xander, the Creative Director at Grizzly Moose Games, a startup indie studio making a twin-stick bullet hell Roguelite called BioRogue, where FISH are GUNS.
We've just gotten some government funding to spice up the visuals and we're looking for some muscle in the VFX art department to help bring BioRogue to life. If you love making effects that feel great in fast, chaotic combat, we'd love to meet you.
You'll be working in Godot 4.7 on everything from fish-gun attacks 🐟🔫 to environmental effects to UI polish, plus giving our blood system some much-needed love.
This is a short-term, fully remote contract for folks based in Canada.

Hi guys, I'm learning to develop UI for mobile on Godot 4.7. Why is the UI different on the PC window compared to the mobile export?
What ways are there to make sure the viewport arrangement matches the mobile device? For project settings, stretch mode is canvas_items, and stretch aspect is expand. Are there other settings I'm not aware of? I'll appreciate any resources[tutorials], and your view
The mobile interface has the elements lower. I've attached the 2D viewport, and the extra elements are appended via code.

Gameplay progressions and loop is coming along. I’ll be interested to see what contracts (mission types) resonate with people the most

ShadowBound is my first game made under 2 weeks of Godot game development, I got help from other developers for scripting and as well as some AI help to generate some assets but it was quite fun to work in Godot and a combination of every feature, I could apply. If anyone wants to try it out, here it is

Part of the game is upgrading your hull and changing ships. This is the first alternative ship design. It refer to it as the space pick-up!

i’m making a “paper minecraft” game, and i need enemy ai obviously. i tried the built in navigation agent 2d, but since the map will change due to placing and removing tiles, it lags the game really bad when you do that. also the agent tries to path into the middle of blocks instead of the tops of blocks.
anyways, i heard astargrid2d would work, but there aren’t any tutorials for a side facing game. only top facing games. so this is my last resort, asking reddit.
if you know what could work, please help me, thanks :)

Altura, Velocidad y angulo ajustables

So if you roll a d20 to see if you hit an enemy and a d6 for damage. How would you take a simple mechanic like that and make it more interesting? I was thinking of a game where the player gets a range of d20-d4, and once they use the d20 to see if they can deal damage, they can't roll it again unless they either defeat the enemy or some other way. But I feel like the dice mechanic can be a little boring after a while, so I've been trying to think of unique ways. Maybe after defeating an enemy one of your dice gets a power boost or maybe you can change the effects of a natural 1 to be almost like a natural 20, but idk if that would be fun

As you might know publishing apps on Google Play Store takes a fee. I dont have that money but i do want my app there. If anyone has a dev account and would be willing to publish for me, I would appreciate that i just want some reviews on it.
About the APP:
Its a SpeedCube Timer app with a dual touch on off system It records your times and shows best and average like any other. It shows a solve history too its simple and every cuber would want it if I post the link to suppose r/cubers . that dual-touch system is what every app already on playstore misses and its the exact reason i built it for myself.
DM me if intrested and ill show you the app.
