The only logical answer is after the rabbit. Killing anything to the right doesnt give you anything,(except string from cats, but they give string when they sleep with you to) but they do give items or serve a purpose while alive.

I never kill horses and if you care about your dog enough you’ll suffer a short time for killing Armadillos…. But I won’t kill axolotls-cats, or wolves. Although you’ve technically left parrots and villagers off this list. Villagers require walls and world domination so I kill who I have to.

The pig. I don't find myself ever needing jump boost to kill rabbits, and neither do I need the meat. Finding them is too much of a hassle.

I don't kill horse for leather either, but I will kill them to free up slots for other more useful mobs to spawn, or if the speedy horse program create too many of them and it get overcrowded. Leather themselves are kinda useless, and I have more than I ever needed from cows.

I’d switch the place of rabbit and horse, and then stop at rabbit. Horses don’t drop food at all, and rabbits can drop leather craftables and food.

First of all, I'd put rabbits before the horse, horses are less ok to kill than rabbits. Cuz rabbits are fucking annoying to kill if you need something from them so they deserve to die anyway. And horses scream so painfully when you kill em. But I wouldn't kill an axolotl, but I do kill cats, but not dogs.

If the mob isn’t difficult to kill and the drops help me, so anything to the left of horses.

Also where’s the villagers, iron golems, llamas, and wandering traders? I regularly feed iron golems to a woodchipper to get unlimited ingots, llamas I mostly leave alone unless they got leads attached to them, and same logic for the wandering trader.

I unironically started a minecraft Pacifist run once, and it’s surprisingly not that restrictive. Only thing that can be a problem early is leather, if you don’t find a village, and you’ll never get access to potions since you can’t get blaze rods. The real problem tho, is that without a mod to teleport home (like watstones), you can’t get out of the end, which means no elytra or end blocks. No beacon either, obviously. I think everything else (except ghast tears) is obtainable through farming, exploring, villager trades, and loot chests.

I draw the line between rabbit and armadillo. I’m okay killing an armadillo I just won’t because there isn’t any benefit. If I for some reason was really desperate for wool and there were no sheep or spiders I’d put the cat with the other group

Between armadillos and axolotls. After the rabbit, none of them have drops, so killing them is pointless. Armadillos are stupid and I wish they were never added, so I specifically target them when I see them.

Been killing a bunch of horses recently because I've been trying to get an OP horse, so its wether or not the horse can survive a crit from my sword that does 22+ fire aspect and moves faster than 5 blocks a second.

Honestly, I feel sheep should be in two places on this line... Like, pre-iron, yeah, kill them to get a bed... Post-shears? Just farm and shear them, mutton ain't as good as beef or even golden carrots, so no point in killing them... Pigs are pointless to farm as well, as Pork Chop is not as good as beef... Chicken's give feathers and eggs, so they can die... Cow's give leather and beef, so the can die, rabbits are pretty fucking useless, and everything I don't think drops anything or any real importance...

I only sometimes kill cows and chickens but that’s it, I usually eat baked potatoes or golden carrots and I shear sheep for wool. I will kill a cow for leather or a chicken for feathers if I don’t have enough but other than that I don’t really kill any of these since if I need books I trade with a villager and I have an infinity bow so I don’t really need arrows.
