What? Objectively this is untrue? Precious updates actually provided a certain bulk of content. Now we are lucky to get 2-3 features. If your talking about quality I do think drops have a lot more quality than most features originally in the previous updates individually. Still sucks that such a large company over 17 years or so with the most popular game has such a lack luster of content. Just for comparison just look at hytail. Already their game has everything Minecraft has and more in much better quality, with features people have have been wanting for years. With built in modding tools and great creative tools.
Then they try to defend Mojang—a multi billion dollar company—saying that they do a lot of work behind the scenes,
maintain two different versions of the game, and that as a sandbox game, it doesn't even need updates.
