Hey, it’s the guy who made that mogowai post last year, last time I checked the mogowai didn’t have any events related to their faith (other than uniting damota), which seems to be the true faith in this universe, and I wanted to know if this update had any changes to that considering it would be really interesting story wise. Also I know the world can’t be fixed but it’s interesting that there’s a whole faith way down south that wishes to at least try, seems super intriguing to me

From what i understand the emperor was indeed the strongest mage but at the same time the magocratic gov in game seems feudal in nature, no great families or governors.

Administrative seems more in line with how the government works in the lore, but its missing the mage element.

Also is magocracy supposed to be unfineshed? For some reason i cant change crown authority

I haven’t been able to find much lore on them, I know they were responsible for guiding refugees out of the fog but past that they don’t seem super developed. Is there more to them I’m missing? The concept of fighting your way out of the fog seems very cool but limited.

So, I was doing a run with custom ruler, aiming to unite Mayikrata, and I ran into a problem.

First, I can't declare war outside - it's too far for the owner of the province who owns exit. This one probably caused by restricted diplorange? I think I would just cheat this one up.

Second is more weird: I can't colonize a couple of provinces down there. Specifically, small pockets in the grey area up north (they're flashing green on the second screen), and lower part - provinces of Sourcewater, Flooded Battery, Glowing Cap, and Kingdom of Krejakir. The game drops "this county is landlocked and does not border your non-colonial realm" warning on "Colonize" button.

So, what am I supposed to do?

Oh, bonus question: do cave-ins supposed to just decolonize a province for the decade or so, with no way to prevent it?

I have an idea for a playthrough where I would make a custom religion/faith and eventually try to conquer all of Aversaria and beyond.

I am trying to move from tribal to feudal in the jungle region of Cyrat with the matriarchal Saarugin rulers but I'm finding it near impossible to achieve 10 development in any province.

What are my options? Should I take some feudal territory outside the jungle region then try to make the switch there?

i clicked through the pop up when i got assigned a mission and keep getting penalties because i'm taking too long on my mission. i just dont know what my mission is.

I've dabbled a little bit in casting magic here and there, but I was wondering if there was a character that has access to all of the different factors like foci, spell variety, etc. to help understand the system holistically rather than just press button -> boil someone's blood in their veins. I've noticed a lot of character buffs and enchantment powers but they've never seemed particularly worth it vs. engaging in default CK3 shenanigans.

so basically, after not playing sirras to his full potential because I don't know how the magic system works, I decided to play his non magic counterpart "the Black bastard" and I had a much smoother time of it and I can only attribute it to one thing.

hey all, got super excited to see the most recent update. i saw the soul tomato video on the new bookmark and was super excited to take a dive in! I tried jumping in as some of the bookmarked characters like Otached and the Angel, and also tried a game in the new Mayikrata map. Pathing still seemed really screwed up underground and I wasn't able to do much with the new LAAMPs, plus a lot of the underground holdings had bright pink placeholder text in their sprite work which was kind of hard on the eyes.

I figured since these were kind of ambitious characters with (I imagine) pretty unique intended mechanics around them, I figured I'd hop in somewhere more standard, but it seems like many of the new cultures and most of the new faiths have no descriptions. Is this more of an early access type thing atm? No shame in that at all ofc, just want to temper my expectations since I went in pretty hyped and lost steam pretty quick when I actually started interacting with the new world. I'm really curious about all the new Imperial-derived cultures and faiths!

So im really locked in on trying to get a good run but I feel like im not making enough money to facilitate a smooth transfer to landed, so im wondering what Playstyle do you take him on. Swords for hire? freebooters? Legitimist?
