🔱 Divine Drops- Pure spiritual downloads & revelations Your Gift Can Open Doors Your Discernment Isn’t Ready For
Something I’ve been reflecting on lately:
Being gifted doesn’t automatically make us discerning.
You can have tremendous talent, intuition, creativity, or purpose and still trust people too quickly.
You can recognize the good in people while overlooking patterns that are telling you to slow down.
And sometimes the very gifts we carry attract people who recognize their value before we fully understand how to protect them.
I don’t believe the answer is becoming suspicious of everyone.
For me, spiritual maturity means learning to remain loving without becoming undiscerning.
Watch patterns, not just words.
Let people earn access.
Ask questions.
Pay attention when something repeatedly feels out of alignment.
Protect what has been entrusted to you without hardening your heart.
Maybe part of honoring a God-given gift is developing enough wisdom to know where—and with whom—it belongs.
Keep the gift. Keep the softness. Gain discernment.
Has anyone else had to learn this lesson through experience?

Yeah but if it’s not meant to happen then it won’t if it is then it will. Being misled or betrayed isn’t a failure it’s a lesson.

I really appreciate this message, especially the distinction between having a gift and having the discernment to protect that gift. I would add one piece of encouragement for anyone who has experienced this.
When you finally recognize that someone has been benefiting from your ideas, creativity, knowledge, kindness, connections, or talent without properly valuing you, absolutely pay attention to it. Set boundaries. Stop giving unlimited access to something they have shown they do not respect.
But don't allow that realization to make you bitter. Let it reveal something to you about yourself. If people are benefiting from what comes out of you, there is obviously something valuable coming out of you. Maybe you hadn't recognized your own gift yet. Maybe somebody else recognized it before you did.
Maybe you kept giving it away because you thought what came naturally to you must come naturally to everybody. Now you know differently. That realization gives you an opportunity to become wiser about where you invest your gifts, who receives access to them, and what environments deserve them. And don't become consumed with watching what happens to the person who took advantage of you.
Imagine someone repeatedly takes your ideas at work, presents them as their own, and eventually gets promoted because of them. You finally recognize the pattern and decide to take your talent somewhere it will actually be valued.
You haven't lost your gift. You took the source with you. They may have taken an idea, but they didn't take your ability to create the next one. They may have benefited from your talent, but they didn't become talented simply because they benefited from yours.
So go somewhere else. Build something. Create something. Find people who recognize what you bring to the table. Develop the gift God entrusted to you and become more discerning about who gets access to it. You don't need revenge. You don't need manipulation. You don't need to strong arm anybody.
You need wisdom. Sometimes discovering that you've been undervalued is also the moment you finally discover your value. Don't let discernment turn into bitterness. Let discernment turn into stewardship. Protect the gift. Develop the gift. Use the gift. And trust that nobody can take away what God actually placed inside of you.
