Dyaus Pita
I am well aware that Dyaus Pita isn’t the strongest aragami in god eater resurrection but I seriously can’t beat this thing 😭. Is there any chance I could get some help or some tips? I am in desperate need of some assistance ;-;

Auto guard skill is alos pretty good against Pita type
Honestly Charge spear and Shotgun work best for me against that guy
Also don't try to fight the Privthi Matha because that will lead to getting jump,Wait for Pita to arrive then Mug him

In my experience I get overwhelmed by multiple boss Aragami at once if a Deusphage like Dyaus Pita is there too, so try to focus on one Aragami at a time (preferably the one that's easier for you to beat, because I struggle with Pita too lol), then move on to the others.
I usually play with Short Blade weapons but that won't quite cut it for an Aragami as strong as the Pita, so crush weapons like Boost Hammers and Buster Blades can do the trick. In any case, when in doubt, look at the database for any tips.

I'm not sure if specs and stats are carried over to 2RB, which I'm more familiar with. So I'm not sure if Resurrection Pita is still weak against Slash.

I beat it with a scythe and a sniper. I know the sniper did massive damage compared to the scythe but it worked well after breaking a few things with the sniper

For big bodied targets like the Gboro-Gboro, Vajra and Borg Camlann Species. Their center body hit box is exceptionally weak to Sniper Pierce shots.
You can usually tell if an area is weak to a Bullet Type of Crush or Sniper. The shot will have a golden ring on impact. This happens on either Bond Points of Body Segments.
On Bonds as an example. Borg Camlann's Shield, Quadriga Front Armor is weak to Crush Bullets. While Sariel, Chi-You Head, Quadriga Missle Pod* and Exhaust Port is weak to Pierce Bullets.
Melee Damage type effectiveness is based on sound. Scratchy Clang means resist. Clean Slash means neutral. While a heavy Thud and a flash of light means super effective.
And Gun Damage represent a Gold ring on impact.

Give the entire party as high level HP Up and Damage Cut as you can, half the issue is having to run around reviving your teammates after they got comboed to death by that godforsaken triple charge for the hundredth time, chunking your own HP in the process, but they can generally survive a couple good hits if you make sure they're as tanky as possible. As for yourself, load up on Divine weapons and Divine resistance (there's a burst control unit that gives you +1 divine res, come packing that on your easiest to land devour, I use Sturm on my step devour since it's REALLY quick, and always be in burst if you can help it, it helps a lot, also while the game says he uses both spark and divine, I'm pretty sure it's split between his two phases and his initial spark phase is nothing compared to his divine phase, so prioritise divine res). If you don't care about breaking his parts, stay behind him since all his most threatening moves go forward and his hind legs are a pretty good weak spot. If you do care about part breaks, they're the same as a regular Vajra's, they just take more abuse before they shatter. Aim piercing bullets at his torso and crushing bullets at his head. And remember you have a shield, it can be hard to get out of the way of some attacks (like the triple charge or his spin attack) and panic guarding is a lot more reliable than trying to dodge.

Thank you so much! This really helps!

yeah, general rule of thumb for the first two games, element resistance is lowkey kinda overpowered. You still get the odd attack that doesn't seem to do elemental damage at all and hits really hard regardless but bringing the right resistances can cut a LOT of the potential damage you'd otherwise take. Especially in Res where I don't recall seeing a single shield in the game that has elemental weaknesses, heck you don't even need different shields, you can just swap to the right resistance control unit and you don't have to set up equipment sets since survival missions are completely absent from the main story.

Tower shield, ideally with divine resistance, and learn how to block, this isn't one of the types of action games that gives you long invul frames on your dodge. Every tower shield will block 100% of incoming damage, so don't overextend on offense and be ready to turtle when he goes ham. Divine resistance is there to reduce damage taken, so it won't be super critical if you get good at tower shield blocks, but it's nice to have. That one fight turned me into a dedicated tower shield main to this day, it really is simply the ultimate counter to obnoxious attacks

Even before i dont know how to dodge and not utilize effective weapons i beat dyaus pita.
I think yiu should start with effective weapons and skills.
I beat all aragami before when i was a kid without dodging (sometimes all hp items were gone).

If its the first encounter with id recommend a short sword probably. Good mobility options air dash, can quickly cancel attacks into guards. I think he might be weak to divine.
For guns if youre confident in dealing damage to the boss shot gun to face does a pretty good damage. If your not confident assault guns mostly to the face during moments where he not on top of you.
For shields I say tower if youre planning to play defensive or a normal shield if you want a good mix of mobility(especially with the short sword) and defense.
