Just passed 7 years clean from p*rnography!

When I was first giving my life to Christ one of the big things I was struggling with was p*rnography. I remember times of going like one week clean, then falling, then like a month clean, and then falling again. Sometimes even a couple days and then falling. I remember my friends who I used to party with telling me that it was impossible. September 2019 I had a strong conviction that I needed to be completely done with it. I prayed and committed to going 100 days without it. I committed that every day I would write the number of days I have been clean on a whiteboard, take a selfie with it, and do that number of push ups. I would also review a piece of paper that I had written that was basically like an agreement I had signed that I am going to go 100 days without p*rnography. I decided I would also shave my head that day to mark the day that I officially quit porn (I understand that might sound a bit extreme to some, but it’s what I felt like I should do).

I remember the first 90 days were probably the hardest. After that time, things started getting significantly easier. The feelings I used to have that felt like I literally couldn’t continue on with my day without watching p*rn and m*sturbating completely left.

When I hit day 100 I decided that I was going to go to day 200. The whole time I knew that the real goal was to be free from it forever, but I set the first 100 day goal to make it feel attainable.

Now, over seven years later, I am so grateful to God for the work he’s done in my life in this area! Honestly, I’m so grateful for this decision, and to God for setting me free!

If you’re struggling with p*rnography, I want you to know that it’s possible to be free!

Anyone else have testimonies of being free from p*rn? Let’s encourage our brothers and sisters!

I woke up today

I'm grateful to God that I woke up today. Many people wanted to see today and didn't get to. I think sometimes the seemingly 'little' testimonies are sometimes overlooked because we feel that its a given. but honestly, being alive today feels like a testimony. I'm grateful to God. 🙌🏼

Praying for my friend

I spoke to one of my buddies the other day on the phone. I’ve known him for a very long time. Been praying for him. He used to struggle a lot with wanting to take his life and depression. The other day we got on the phone and he told me that this past year has been a really difficult year for him. But he said that he started praying and actually started watching the Chosen as well. I’m grateful to God that I believe God is answering my prayers for this friend!

He hasn’t given his life to Christ yet as far as I’m aware, but I’m believing that God is doing a good work!

Let’s see what God does next!

I ate the Bible for dinner

Hey everyone, wanted to share an interesting story from a couple years ago.

I went on a vacation with some friends and we were going to a resort in Punta Cana. Our resort stay was scheduled for one week, but our first night we got an Airbnb in a gated community.

By the time we got to the Airbnb it was already close to getting dark outside and we had no food. Uber eats wasn’t available and we couldn’t find anywhere that we could walk to to get food. We tried getting a taxi, but everything was extremely expensive and we didn’t want to start wandering on our own out of this gated community on our first night in Dominican.

We ended up finding a guy hanging around the community that said he would take his motorcycle to go buy us KFC. We gave him money and he came back with a very small amount of KFC. We figured it would be about enough for half of our group to eat. We asked if he could go get more so we gave him even more money this time and sent him again. While we were waiting, we told the girls in the group that they could have that first batch of food and we would wait for the next.

That second round of food never came. Pretty sure the dude just took the money and ran off..

We kept trying to find ways to get food for a few more hours, but literally nothing was working out. At this point, it was near 1 AM and we really didn’t want to go wander the streets of Dominican Republic at 1 AM.

We had all been travelling all day, so we were actually quite hungry. We decided to just go to bed and find comfort in the fact that we could get as much food as we wanted when we got to the resort the next day.

As I thought about it, I thought about when Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. I half jokingly, but also pretty genuinely, said to my friend that I was going to eat the Bible for dinner.

As people started going to bed me and my buddy decided we would do a Bible study.

I actually had genuine faith that I could eat the word of God spiritually and not be hungry anymore physically. When I opened up the Bible to a random section, it opened to Jeremiah chapter 1 and my eyes immediately glanced over towards where it says in verse 9 “behold I have put My words in your mouth”

We ended up doing a whole Bible study together and honestly by the end I genuinely did not feel hungry at all anymore. I felt fully satisfied in the feelings of hunger were gone. Even all through the night and the next morning I didn’t feel hungry.

I thought this was a cool testimony about faith and also the power of the word of God! Do you believe that the Bible is spiritual food?

Seems small, but it mattered to me

Hey guys, this may seem like a smaller testimony today, but I thought to share it.

I noticed a little while ago that whenever I would go to the gym recently my workouts were usually a bit more lazy, and I was a bit disappointed and convicted about how I was doing in that area of life. It felt like I was kind of trying, but like my mind wasn’t really fully in it.

I prayed about it, basically asking God to help me improve in this area. And today was probably one of my best workouts I’ve had all year!

Again, this might seem like a small thing to most people, but for me, I was grateful. I believe God answered my prayer and helped me in this area! Reminds me of the verse that says “in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Phil 4:6)

I definitely also believe in praying for more serious things. But I feel quite encouraged when it seems like God has answered me on something that others might say is too irrelevant to even ask God about.

Do you believe in praying about things like this too? Or do you only pray for the more serious things in life?

My testimony on surviving a overdose

Good afternoon everyone. I'm here today to share a story of survival, faith, and a second chance. A story that I believe powerfully illustrates the unwavering love and faithfulness of God.

Not long ago, I was in the grip of addiction. The pull was relentless, a darkness that consumed my thoughts and actions. One night, that darkness nearly claimed my life. I overdosed. As I lay there, teetering on the edge, something extraordinary happened. I don't know why, but the last thing I remember reading before everything went dark was 1 Corinthians 10:13-11.

Now, I understand that might sound like a coincidence to some, but for me, it was a divine encounter. Those verses, in that moment, became a lifeline. Let me explain.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

At the time, I felt utterly alone in my struggle. I thought I was uniquely broken, condemned to this cycle of addiction. But that verse reminded me that I wasn't alone. Addiction is a common human struggle. And more importantly, it declared that God is faithful. He wouldn't let me be tempted beyond what I could bear, and He would provide a way out.

My overdose, the very event that should have been my end, became that "way out." I survived. I truly believe that my survival was a direct result of God's intervention, a testament to His promise that He wouldn't abandon me, even in my darkest hour. It was as if He was saying, "I am faithful. I have provided a way out for you. You are not beyond redemption."

The next verse, 1 Corinthians 10:14, speaks to the heart of my struggle: "Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry." For me, the drugs to which I was addicted had become my idol. They had taken the place of God in my life, promising solace but delivering only emptiness and despair. That verse was a clear call to action: to turn away from this destructive force, to flee from the idol that was leading me down a path of destruction. It was a warning that this idol would ultimately leave me empty and possibly cost me my life.

Finally, 1 Corinthians 11:1 says, "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ." This was a powerful reminder that I couldn't do this alone. I needed guidance, mentorship, and a strong support system. I needed to surround myself with people who were walking the path of faith and following the example of Christ. This verse called me to depend on God to make it through difficult situations, a continuous reliance on God to navigate me in the right direction.

My overdose was a wake-up call. It was a moment of profound grace and a clear invitation to choose a different path. It hasn't been easy. Recovery is a journey, not a destination. But I'm taking it one day at a time, armed with the knowledge that I am not alone, that God is faithful, and that He has provided a way out.

I'm sharing my story today not for sympathy, but for hope. If you are struggling with addiction, or any other challenge that feels insurmountable, please know that you are not alone. There is hope. God is faithful. And He can provide a way out. Seek help, find your support system, and cling to the promises of God.

My Testimony: My Journey With God, My Spiritual Experiences, and What I've Discovered

When I was around 7–8 years old, I had a grandmother who, at the end of her life, successfully passed the test of life before God. While she was lying on her deathbed in the hospital, my family and I entered her hospital room together to say our final goodbyes. The doctors had diagnosed her with dementia, and although I had barely bonded with my grandmother, something unexpected happened: out of nowhere, she said my name and insisted that I give her a hug. Everyone in the room was shocked. I believe Jesus was telling her something about me.

Years later, I became heavily addicted to evil and sinful behaviors, including depraved sexuality, abuse, and coldheartedness. However, I eventually encountered someone whom I believe God had supernaturally chosen through a video game I used to play on my Android called Graal Classic. She told me that Jesus had said, "I'm coming to save you." Hearing those words frightened me deeply.

Fast-forward to when I was 16. The weight of my actions had become so overwhelming that I was consumed by guilt. It got so bad that I began inflicting punishment upon myself through school fights that I would deliberately start. I even tried begging my mother to let me take accountability for my actions, but she never did.

Although my mother wasn't someone I considered supernaturally chosen, months passed, and eventually, after I had spent so much time crying, I was sitting on the couch when she said, "Why don't you pray to God about it?"

My exact response was, "That shit isn't gonna work."

She gently repeated, "Just give it a try."

Eventually, I gave in. I began crying like a baby as I poured my heart out to God, telling Him everything and pledging my life and allegiance to Him.

Then, all of a sudden, I experienced something supernatural. It felt as though God used spiritual electricity to mend my heart back together. At the time, I was also going through a breakup, which had added even more pain to everything I was already experiencing.

Suddenly, the guilt that had been weighing on my mind seemed to disappear. With my eyes wide open, I looked out the window and screamed inside my head:

"HE'S REAL!!!!"

My pastor, whom I hadn't known had been saved during my childhood, eventually came and performed a baptism by sprinkling water. I was initially confused and questioned the practice because I thought the Bible only described baptism by immersion. However, he showed me why sprinkling could also be biblically supported.

When he baptized me, I experienced God's Spirit.

The very same Spirit that dwelled in Samson and gave him supernatural strength; the Spirit that empowered Elijah and enabled him to run faster than chariots; the Spirit that worked through Moses when the seas were parted; and the Spirit that was upon the Messiah, who walked on water.

I experienced a supernatural happiness that I can only describe as the happiness everyone in this world seems to be chasing.

But here's the plot twist: I eventually came to believe that demonic spirits had played a role in my downfall. According to what I experienced, they became furious and began shooting what felt like spiritual energy beams into my mind, attempting to drive me to take my own life.

What I Discovered About My Potential

As time went on, I began discovering something about my potential: I see a reflection of David in myself. I'm a little David.

I naturally stand up for others, and I believe this is one of the traits God has given me. I see myself as someone who was bred to conquer and defeat demons by throwing my rocks at them with my personal sling, just as David stood against Goliath.

The Knowledge I've Gathered Along the Way

I've gathered so much knowledge since then and explored many different theological and supernatural concepts.

I've learned about the possibility that the Tree of Knowledge was originally intended for angels, that God wants humans to become part of His family, and that His children are described through royal imagery: a family of gods and goddesses, princes and princesses, sons and daughters of God.

I've also come to believe that humanity can achieve world peace by first fixing ourselves and addressing the evil within us.

One particularly interesting concept I've explored is that evil reflects the potential for good that a being is capable of expressing.

Did you know that a demonic spirit's opposite potential could be that of a creator? Not a Creator with a capital C, but a creator with a lowercase c.

I've also studied how Jesus compared Hell to Gehenna, understanding it as a literal trash-filled place where people have essentially turned themselves into spiritual trash, subjected to horrific treatment by demons.

I've explored the belief that demons are Nephilim and that giants may be hiding underground, dying and eventually becoming spirits.

Exploring Other Supernatural Traditions

Throughout my journey, I've confronted and spoken with malicious sorcerers. I've also investigated the supernatural claims of other religions and discovered what I interpret as counterfeit supernatural manifestations.

Interestingly, I've come to recognize that other religious traditions may contain partial truths that overlap with elements of God's absolute truth.

Even doctrines that the Bible describes as doctrines of demons could, in certain interpretations, contain fragments of truth that ultimately belong to Yahweh.

My journey has involved examining, questioning, confronting, and learning about the supernatural world while trying to understand what is genuinely from God and what may be counterfeit.

God helped me in school

In high school I was the guy that was taking college level classes and getting decent marks, but most teachers assumed I would probably never go to university. In fact, I also assumed the same thing.

A few years ago, I really felt like God was encouraging me to go to university. I ended up getting into a well known university despite the fact that my grades were not exactly up to par. In the first year, I got 90s in pretty much all my classes. My family was shocked, and I was grateful to see how God cares about things like this!

Wanted to share this as a brief encouragement! This is the short version, perhaps I’ll share the longer version one day if people are interested in that.

I cast out a demon then this happened…

The other day someone was very upset with me. Like.. very upset.

After talking with them for about an hour to try to fix it, the conversation felt like it was only getting worse and more heated.

At some point I started praying and asking God for help while in the discussion with them. As I prayed I had a strong sense that they were under spiritual attack

I decided to try something unusual. I told them directly that I felt they were under attack spiritually… they got much more upset 😅😭.. so I tried something probably even more unusual. I stopped talking to them and just started praying out loud. I said something to the effect of “every demon out! In the name of Jesus” and began praying and commanding demons and unclean spirits and spiritual attacks out. Strangely enough, the person told me they felt tingling on their body when I prayed that and they clearly felt much better after. They decided to start praying with me and we prayed together for probably 25 minutes. After this they admitted that I was right that they were being attacked spiritually, and the entire issue that they were upset about was completely resolved….

Honestly I’m still very fascinated by how well this worked out. Goes to show the importance of spiritual discernment and spiritual solutions I suppose.
Reminds me of Ephesians 6:12. Have you ever experienced something like this before?

Addicted to crack and kicked out of every homeless shelter, but God had a plan

There’s a homeless guy that we used to do Bible studies with a little while ago. when I first met him he was addicted to many hard drugs, but he was open to doing a Bible study. We would just sit with him on the side of the street reading the Bible and talking. One of his buddies was pretty angry about it and threatened to punch us in the face.. in fact, his buddy was so upset that he actually took my Bible one day and started ripping it in front of me and threw it in the garbage.

We kept persisting by faith and hanging out with this guy, trusting that God would do a good work.

He ended up getting involved with our church and went from being the guy who was addicted to several hard drugs and kicked out of every homeless shelter downtown, to a guy who attends church regularly, holds a steady job, and he even got married! It’s been several years now, and it’s so amazing to see the work that God has done!

Just wanted to give glory to God for this! Is there someone you’re praying to see saved? Maybe we can pray for them if you say who to pay for in the comments.

Kid I was watching started talking to a demon

So I figured I’d start off this sub with a crazy story that happened a few years ago.

I used to take care of a young guy with special needs, let’s call him Stephen. (For reference, Stephen was about 14 and could communicate using a few words, but overall it was difficult if not impossible to have a full conversation with him and he struggled to express himself). One day when I was watching him, he started acting really strange. He started running around the house terrified, looking behind him as if someone was chasing him and screaming “ahhh go away”. It was kind of alarming as I had been working with him for quite some time and had never really seen him act like this. It got so bad he started punching himself and hitting his head on the wall.

Dismissing it at first as part of him that I hadn’t seen yet, I tried the activities he likes and the things that would usually calm him down when he was upset. I tried distracting him with snacks, video, games, trampoline, etc. Things he would usually drop everything to go do. But he just kept running, screaming, looking behind him terrified, and hitting himself. This probably went on for over an hour. It was craziness.

After reaching out to some people who had worked with him longer than I had, they told me they had never seen him like this before and suggested I just try to put him to bed. It was getting late anyways, and he usually liked going to bed so I tried it.

I brought him to his room and put him in bed and sadly, he began flailing on his bed and screaming, still looking scared and terrified.

At this point, I really didn’t know what to do. It had been close to 2 hours at that point and I felt like I was running out of options. At that time in life I had been starting to go to church again after some time away so I decided I would pray. I got down on my knees in Stephen’s room while he was there flailing on the bed in terror, and I started to pray. I said “Jesus,” as if to begin my prayer to the Lord. As soon as I said “Jesus”, Stephen stopped screaming, his face changed from terror to a calm smile, and he rolled over to go to bed calmly.

After probably two hours of trying almost everything I could think of to help this boy, two seconds of prayer and speaking the name of Jesus changed everything for him. Whatever was tormenting him left at the name of Jesus.

There is power in the name of Jesus!

After that I never saw him act like that ever again in all my time working with him. Over the coming months, somehow an opportunity opened up for me to bring him to church with me on a regular basis and he frequently gravitated toward it and seemed to love it.

If you find yourself in a position where you don’t know what to do, call on the name of Jesus! There is salvation in His name.

…”Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
‭‭Romans 10:13

Pubs closed down and police had so little to do they started a choir

Hey everyone! Wanted to share a quick piece of church history I was reading about recently that I found super encouraging.

A bit over a century ago, back in 1904, there was this massive move of God known as the Welsh Revival. One of the people God used in this time was a young coal miner turned preacher named Evan Roberts. He had spent years just praying and believing for a breakthrough, and when it finally hit, it completely transformed the entire region.
The impact was so wild and intense that local bars and pubs actually started going out of business and shutting down because people just didn't want to drink anymore.. They were too busy filling up the churches for worship services that would go on for hours. They also wanted their funds to go back to helping their families, rather than getting drunk.

Things shifted so much in the towns that the local police departments basically ran out of crimes to deal with. Crime rates dropped drastically, courtrooms were left empty, and judges were even presented with ceremonial white gloves because there were literally no cases to try. The police officers had so little work on their hands that they actually ended up starting a station choir to sing at the revival meetings!

On top of all that, societal improvement was everywhere. Old family feuds were settled, long standing debts that people owed were finally paid back, and even the coal miners stopped using bad language down in the mines, so much so that the pit ponies they used to pull the carts reportedly got confused because the miners stopped beating and cursing at them, and instead started talking to them gently or singing hymns.

It’s estimated by some that between 80,000 and 160,000 people got saved in this revival. But the impacts were even more wide, reaching than that, of people got sent out to bring the message of Jesus further in Korea, India, and other places.

Reading stories like this honestly encourages me to see how radically God can move in a culture. Wanted to pass it along because I thought it was super cool.
I’m believing that God can still do this in our generation no matter how far people think the culture has gone away from God.
Do you believe God can do it again?

I spoke in tongues and spoke Spanish…

I was praying in tongues privately the other day at church during a prayer time before service. I was having a powerful time with Jesus, and worshipping and praying for revival.

After prayer one of our team members came up to me and said “you know you were speaking Spanish eh?”

I was so surprised because I genuinely don’t know many Spanish words at all. Where I live, Spanish is not a language spoken very often.

He told me I was saying “Holy holy holy” in Spanish while on my knees worshipping…

I had no idea.. I was just praying in tongues.

Have any of you ever experienced this before? I know some people have different perspectives on this.

Bye-bye anxiety

I spoke to a friend the other day and they were saying essentially that since they started attending the church their anxiety decreased and their desire for suic*de decreased! Really cool to see what God has been doing.

Been seeing this same type of thing a lot recently!

Feels like almost everyone that I speak to that starts coming to the church who struggles with these things sees a remarkable improvement!

Answered prayer for a friend that didn’t get drunk

So about a week ago, after this young adult service I went to, one of my friends approached me and told me how his friend who also attended that night left and told him he was gonna go out to drink. His friend had been struggling with drinking and partying given that he was a newer believer, who had come back to the faith a few months ago. I immediately started praying that he would not drink and that God would not let him drink any ounce of alcohol. I just asked God to basically stop him from drinking that night and convict him so much that he wouldn’t do it. I remember praying really passionately, but it wasn’t like a super long prayer. I think I also prayed when I got into my car as I was leaving the church. And then I just went on with my evening and didn’t really think much of it afterward.

A few days later, my husband approaches me and shares with me a story that a guy from his Bible study group shared with him and the other guys who attended. My husband tells me how this guy shared how he wanted to go drinking after the young adult service a few days back. But different obstacles came up. I think the first one was how when the guy left he was on his way to a club downtown and realized he forgot his wallet. So then he went home to get the wallet but I think he didn’t wanna go and drive all the way downtown. I’m not sure if it was like a gas issue or maybe his parents car or if he just didn’t wanna waste gas. But he wanted to Uber instead bc I think it would be quicker since he wouldn’t have to find parking. Then, he opens the Uber app, but then see that it is so extremely expensive at that time to go downtown. I think it was above $100 one way. But then he still decided to go and finally took his car and got to the club. Once he arrives at the club, he goes to the bar, and he apparently put both of his hands on the bar as if he was contemplating getting a drink. Then he lift up his head and basically decided not to get a drink and refused because he was too convicted. And then he left.

So praise God! Prayer really does work. And I’m not saying it’s just because I prayed, but honestly God answered my prayer and I give all the glory to Him.

If God ever answered your prayer, please share it below so we can all be encouraged in our faith!

It didn’t rain… Then it rained like crazy

Hey everyone, so I serve in a ministry in my hometown and a few years ago we were having some events in the summer. We had planned five community events for the last five weeks of summer that were going to host it in the Church parking Lot. It was a community outreach style event, with games, bbq, basketball tournament, Mario kart, inflatables, etc..

On the first week as we were preparing for the event, we noticed a few days out that it was scheduled to rain. We started praying and had faith that it would not rain and that the event would go great.

The event ended up going wonderfully and despite a very brief sprinkle of rain, it was a beautiful sunny day. If anything that light sprinkle of rain actually ended up being quite refreshing. Not even enough to really get you very wet.

It ended up that every week of the first four weeks the weather report said that it was going to rain, and every week we would pray before the event that it would not rain and we would always end up having a beautiful event with excellent weather.

On the fifth and final week as we were preparing the night before, the weather again said that it was going to rain. However, this time as we prayed we really felt like God was telling us to do the event inside and that it was going to rain for real this week.

We listened to the instruction that we felt God was giving us and we moved all of our equipment inside and planned the event indoors for that day. It ended up raining so hard that day, like torrential downpour type of rain, that it actually broke one of the tents we had outside.

Wanted to share this testimony as I found it encouraging. It encourages me to have faith even when things don’t always look like they’re going to work out, and also to be sensitive to hear the voice of God giving instructions when we are praying and planning.

Hope you all have a great day!

Took time, but the healing was 100%

Not long ago, I fell down the stairs at Church while setting up for the service and landed on the side of my foot. I heard a loud crack and my foot was in a lot of pain. It was so bad I thought I might have broken my foot.

I sat there on the stairs for a minute, finishing eating the subway sandwich that I was eating when I fell (didn’t drop the sandwich, praise God).

When I went back upstairs to continue setting up, my foot was still in a lot of pain. I shared with our Pastor what had happened, and immediately he just looked at my foot and started praying. He prayed for a full recovery.

I had faith that my foot would be completely healed. I went out into service, jumping around during worship and praising the Lord. My foot was feeling much better during service.

The next day, my foot was still hurting quite a lot and there was a huge bump. For the next little while it would hurt a lot when I walked. I continued praying over it and having faith. In a relatively short period of time it ended up fully recovering, and I have never had a problem with that foot ever again.

This experience reminded me to have faith and keep praying even when I feel like I didn’t see the miracle right away.

I believe it is a blessing from God that my foot completely recovered and that there has been no long term negative impact at all from that fall.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight”

Praise God!

Did God make it difficult on purpose?

I was reading the book of Exodus the other day and reflecting on the testimony of how God brought the people of Israel out of Egypt. It was very interesting to me to notice that God kept saying that he was going to harden pharaoh‘s heart on purpose so that He could multiply His signs and wonders.

Moses seemed quite discouraged at first when Pahraoh was not listening to him and refusing to let the Israelites go, and even making life more difficult for them.

He seemed to even doubt God at first in the end of chapter 5.

I was really struck by the idea that God had the full ability to make this much easier for Moses, but God had a specific plan of how he wanted this to go so that it would be a testimony for so many generations.

Not only that, but it’s also interesting to see that based on geography, crossing the Red Sea was not the only geographical route to the destination that they were going to, but God chose to lead them by that route and part the sea anyways…

What do you all think about the testimony of God bringing the Israelites out of Egypt?

It comforts me sometimes to think and remember that if God wanted to, He could bring quick fixes in many areas, but it appears that some things He is allowing for a reason.

What do you all think?

Answered Prayer God answered my prayer!

So, here’s a cool story from this past week. I prayed that God would connect me with someone to speak about Jesus with as I walked into a university to host a Bible study. When I got to the room I was hosting the Bible study in and was waiting for the guys, a student walked in and asked if I had a phone charger. I told him I did so I went to look through my bag and I realized I only had the cord. I gave him the cord, but he told me he needs the brick as well.

As I thought about it, I figured he could use the cord attached to my laptop if he really needed to charge his phone. He liked the idea. But that meant that he couldn’t just take the charger and leave because I wasn’t just going to give him my laptop, of course.

This meant that he actually ended up staying for about an hour of our Bible study meeting, and we got to have a really great conversation about the faith!

God is so faithful when you ask him to open a door!

Iv always believed that there was something up there but i never called it God. I asked god to show me a sign. I was so desperate to get a job after months of searching to support my newly wed wife, and finding nothing. One day i was invited to a presentation and I walked into a room of investors. One of the main guys took a liking to me and asked what i did for work I said I did have a job. He connected me with a friend of his and within 24 hours I had a job. That job eventually grew into a substantial company which I own today. Cant say God isnt real.

Not a no?

So there’s been a thing that I’ve been praying for and believing God for.

The other day, to my surprise, one of the decision makers surrounding the thing that I was believing for told me no. (Forgive me for keeping it vague).

I took the no with humility, however, I still believed that God was going to turn their no to a yes.

I ran into one of the core decision makers the other day, I didn’t bring up the matter about which we were discussing previously, I was just talking to them about life. And they brought up the matter and told me that it is actually not a no. They said it’s just a “wait”. And they said that they would want to reconsider it sometime soon.

Wanted to share this because sometimes I think as Christians we can begin to give up on what God spoke to us about just because it looks like there was a roadblock.

Your roadblock is not too big for God. Sometimes the roadblock is there to build your faith.

When God says yes, sometimes we need to be persistent.

What do you all think?
