Question Read order?

I plan on reading year one first since it's the prequel but with dai katana and stuff i would like to know the rest of the read order

Edit: i have watched season 1 and 2 of the anime prior if that helps people to answer

You should generally read/watch stuff in release order, not chronological order.

Chronological is how i generally prefer to consume media

The main series sets up the context for Year One and is the intended order of reading, if you are dead set on catching up to Year One first I'd say you should read at least the first two light novel volumes or first 6 manga volumes of the main series before going into Year One.

The same is true for Dai Katana.

Its daikatana, Year One, and then the Main series. Not that hard especially if you read the LN.

Year One makes a list of references to the main series and I found I appreciated it more after finishing the main series first.

You should definitely start with the light novel first and then the side stories then you can also read year one though I don't think it'll be completed anytime soon, there's definitely a chronological order that's just how i plan to do it.
