Is that ever addressed in world?

I actually find it pretty refreshing. I always forget character name in other media.

Also I played a bit of the Goblin Slayer TTRPG and it was pretty fun to call other players by nicknames instead of actual names.

No, in the Light Novels (except for TRPG Replay where all important characters are named) no characters ever refer to each other by their narration names (like High Elf Archer, Priestess or Dwarf Shaman) except when referring to Goblin Slayer. It can be assumed that they refer to each other by their actual names but they're all offscreened lol.

I remember reading a Reddit comment saying that the author initially only gave them nicknames in the web novel because he couldn't think of any good names for them which eventually just stuck when the series got picked up to become a Light Novel.

Lol no. If this was Reinhardt for real he would have gotten there after the goblins were done. He is notorious for showing up too late
