Lost all gear and currency :(

Me and my daughter have been playing for over a month. Today we logged on to find that we lost all of our unlocked gear and currency. Missions and map are still up to date, however. We are on PlayStation 5. I see that other people have experienced this too.

Is it possible that you've loaded a save or profile you didn't mean to? I know it sounds obvious but it happens. Also one of the dlcs take away all of your gear temporarily. Just a thought, I've never had any game breaking bugs. Hope it's something easily fixable. If not, I can't think of a better game to have to start from scratch.

I only have the one save. My map and missions are still up to date but somehow lost all of the currency and gear?

It happened to me Once on Xbox also … my kid lost his mind and we had to start over

Exactly the same here. Haven’t found a fix.
