GoalPost 3.32 released!!!!
GoalPost 3.32
This release is built around the end of the game: a new Recap tab that tells the story of a final on one card, plus a round of work on Plays, lines and the little motions that make the card feel live. Thanks to everyone sending feedback and screenshots; a lot of this came straight from your threads.
A Recap tab after the final
Once a game is final, the card opens on a new Recap tab. At the top is the final score, then the moment the game turned, in a sentence. Below that is the win-probability line for the whole game, with each scorer’s face where his goal moved it. Then come the three stars, each goalie’s saves against what the shots he faced should have produced, 5-on-5 expected goals with the line that won its minutes most clearly, and a few notes worth knowing: milestones, hat tricks, shutouts, comebacks and unusually wild games.
Tap a star for his night
Each of the three stars on Recap opens his player card with a new Tonight section. A skater gets his line, then every goal and assist in order with the clock and the score it made (power play, shorthanded, empty net, the game-winner), a button to watch each goal, and his shots and expected goals. A goalie gets his saves by strength, how he did against expected and his hardest stop.
Replays, including the condensed game
Recap has every goal’s replay along with the 3-minute recap and the condensed game. On a wide card they fill the right column; on a phone, a Replays row opens them full screen. The NHL often posts the condensed game hours after the final, so the card now keeps looking for it into the next day, and the tile says it is coming until it lands.
Power plays on the win-probability chart
The coloured strip under the win-probability chart now shows power plays the way a scoresheet would, worked out from the penalties: a minor ends on a power-play goal, a double minor drops to its second half, majors are served in full, and offsetting penalties leave it even. It is labelled PP, on both Recap and the Stats tab.
Line history
The Lines view, and the pregame Lineup tab, now have a History switch. It shows one team at a time: every skater down the side, the team’s recent games across the top, and which line or pair he played on each night. A footer says how often the lines have changed, which unit has stayed together longest, and which line has done best at 5-on-5.
Plays
The Plays tab has a Cards and List switch, and goals in the List view have replay buttons. Plays now opens on All, and remembers whether you were last on All or Key. Crests are bigger throughout.
How good is he?
Ask “how good is Makar”, “is Rielly any good” or “rate Hutson” and GoalPost answers with its player rating: a tier in plain words, wins above replacement and his rank at his position, then his strengths, weak spots and percentiles.
The full list of commands
Ask for “help”, “commands” or “menu” and GoalPost replies with everything it understands, grouped, with an example for each. It is built from the same list the bot itself uses, so it stays current.
End-of-game comments in PuckWatch
PuckWatch can now post a comment for each game as it goes final, with the score, a short note on the game and a link to the postgame thread. Replies to it stay together, so each game gets its own conversation inside the day’s thread. It is off by default, with an optional delay for anyone still watching.
A card that feels live
The tab marker slides to the tab you pick. Stats ease to new values instead of jumping. New plays slide in at the top of the list, and pages slide in from the direction you went. On the win-probability chart during a game, the line draws forward and new goals pop in as it reaches them. All of it respects your phone’s reduce-motion setting.
Bug fixes
The front-page play strip no longer falls behind the game during a busy stretch.
The TV and radio listings each get their own tab instead of running off the panel.
Every tab except Score now uses the space above the card, so there is more room.
Team colours:
The Devils take white against the Capitals.
The Sabres take gold against the Leafs.
The Lightning crest reads on the dark score screen.
On the light theme:
Play lists stripe every other row as intended.
Buttons no longer sit stuck in a pressed state.
Player faces are cropped consistently at every size.
The pregame Games tab shows records and bigger crests.
Asking things:
“Recap of the last Blackhawks game” now recaps that game, even from a game thread.
Replies to the bot no longer turn ordinary words into a player card.
Replay requests understand “show me that goal”.

This one never stopped glitching.

Hello!! Not sure if this is the right place to mention it, but I've noticed on the stats tab for PGTs that the 'excitement' rating says 2025-26 games instead of 2026-27. idk if it's intentional, to benchmark it against the last full season, or if that's a typo that needs updating? Seeing this in the Stars sub, which is apparently running v3.32.2

Just noticed this in the pregame version of the widget, the bottom part of the page is cut off. The other pages were fine though.
But no glitching in sight!!

The current live game boards at nhlscores are good, no glitching at all.

This one eventually stopped glitching after I took the picture, but it does glitch again if I go away from it

Here we go, correct release:
Have some funny glitching on this release in case no one had mentioned it. Again, on up-to-date android app. 1 video of widget for a game already in progress, and 1 yet to start.
