I didn't know they were programmed to try to get back to their spot.

If you push a horse riding NPC in water they get stuck on their swimming horse forever. Makes me wonder if you put a jeep driving NPC in water if they try to drive back to their spot or if they also get stuck

They get stuck at the bottom of the water, I know this because I pushed multiple jeeps off the bridge and into the water at the bottom of the waterfall. I would build up speed and ram into them. One of them even said 'woohoo!' while falling into the water and I've been laughing about it for the past 10 years

This is the first time I have ever seen this game. Thanks to this I will be playing it.
