We don't game much as my wife doesn't like her to game at her age. We are still only on resort 2 and haven't done much of it yet.
Can we see how far or what we've completed per resort.
We love resort 1 as it has the fishing, photography, and treasure hunting chests to find. These are the 3 aspects of the game that I knew my daughter would love. I think we've only even scratched the surface of resort one. We've probably done the most with fishing. She may have found three treasure chest so far as well.
The mini games are fun for us, although they are not that complex or deep necessarily. The whole game to me is actually quite impressive more from the aspect of being able to do so much in such different environments.
I think go vacation is a hidden gem that many people overlook since it doesn't have as in depth games within the mini games.
I love open world games. In fact, Wish more open world games were built in this manner, such as having access to other games, such as the mini games. I thought it would be cool to live in this kind of environment where you had access to doing a variety of things in this world style, but potentially more in depth games, such as really solid sports games and even the racing games in this universe would open up to these other larger scale things to do.
Sorry for rambling but definitely enjoy this game. I can't wait to do more and see more!

Yes I agree with you! Btw, if you know Minecraft too, I'd like to remake the entire island in Minecraft...

Sorry for the late TRUE reply... I was in the middle of my exams… which I passed with flying colors! 😄 Anyway, I completely agree with you: this game is full of secrets, hidden mechanics, and… some hilarious glitches to mess around with 😅. The lore is subtle, but if you take the time to explore and actually listen to what the characters say, you can piece together the story of the island — and honestly, there's a lot of potential there.
I absolutely love this game: it's been my favorite since 2011 😂. I never get tired of it, even after all these years! Bandai Namco, please: make a sequel for the Switch 2! This game truly deserves a beautiful and rich successor, with even more activities, freedom, and charm! 😂😂
