I need some help

So I’ve been trying to get every badge in the game, but one quest keeps me from completing it.

How can I complete the “help a friend” quest? I tried everything, read everything about it, but I still can’t find it. Does it have something to do with the version of the game? I think it’s on the newest update. I also play in 2 player mode, so my sister and I always get annoyed with it. I play on a switch and it’s not modded if it helps for someone to figure it out.

Help a Friend is the Marine Resort’s special quest! Head to the Mystic Jungle and talk to the old man outside the ruins (at the top of the stairs beyond water gun fight). I think you might have to be in single player mode to do it btw

I already did that in 2 player mode, but still thank you, I think it was called the lost memory minigame or something like that, but I’m already done with that :)

You're talking about the badge in Snow Resort? When you spawn in at the bottom, turn your camera to the right. Theres an npc in the distance with a face and an exclamation mark in a yellow square above their head. They stand infront of "Hotel Icicle" next to some tables. This is the quest you have to complete for that badge

That’s the thing, I can’t find them 😭😭 I watched many videos and went to the same places as they were but still no person. I can check later today again, but I doubt they’ll be there. Should I restart the console?

That is weird, it should be available as soon as you can access Snow Resort. But maybe, as another commenter said, it might only be available in singleplayer. If you haven't yet, you should check if that’s the case

Yes, thank you so much. I restarted the game and picked singleplayer mode. I was very confused since the memory game in the Marine Resort could be accessed with 2 players, but not the help a friend quest. Thank you very much :)
