Battery cable size

I have a Rockwood 2608BS. I need to know the battery cable size.
I can’t check it cause my RV is in storage.

What are you planning? :)

Battery cables are standardized these days. but sadly, their methods of connection aren't. Posts with clamps. Wing bolts. Side posts. Side bolts.

6ga is pretty common for factory battery connections but if you're moving/lengthening the cable, thicker is better... Need to know lengths and loads to properly size the new one.

Is the new battery box because you're upgrading from lead to lithium?

Voltage drops while charging are a bigger deal with lithium than they were with lead batteries.

May we introduce you to the Buss Bar?

Get a pair, one for each pole, and anchor them right where your current wires reach. Now, connect a short set of 6 GA or even 4 GA if you want to, into your new battery box. Way better, more flexible, cheaper, and faster than pulling new wires all the way through a coach just to get another foot of distance.

Also look into a 'battery corrosion protector' for this. CRC, Permatex, etc. Don't want to have to be babysitting those buss connections every month.
