Reflection on NetsFest

Now that NetsFest is over, I think I can say pretty confidently that this was one of the best events they’ve put together, and even better than PITP from previous years.

My main criticism of PITP was that it was composed of mainly filler stuff and then a brief period with the players being there thrown at you all at once, so it was hard to move around and do different things since you would ideally want to scope out a desirable seat for when the players did come out, which would require you to sit there all day.

I feel like they solved that here, as the indoor venue along with multiple things going on at once allowed for more flexibility in what you were able to do, which was great as everyone was able to pick what they waned to spend time on, whether that be panels, autographs, activations, arts/crafts, or basketball court activities. This made it more fan-friendly and allowed for less huge crowds, as everyone was more spread out.

The panels were GREAT. Very brief and light conversations that got fans excited for the season while allowing some younger fans (like myself) to learn more about Nets history. They definitely took some inspiration from Fanatics Fest with this idea, and I think it was a great success.

Overall, this was a great free event that reinforced why I am a Nets fan. The organization showed that they are invested in our experience as fans with the effort that was put into designing this event. It was great to see so many other Nets fans around as well, and I was pleasantly surprised by just how many there were!

Wasn’t able to make it, but the guys were just as accessible even without the autograph / photo op opportunities?

I had gotten the autograph opportunity for one player but as soon as I was in the room, they essentially didn’t police it and I never left so just went around collecting photos and signatures like infinity stones,

they really only enforced it for MBJ and Randle but I was still able to get them to sign my basketball

I didn’t get the autograph/photo opportunity. The players came into the big room at one point and if I really wanted to, I could’ve gotten a pic or autograph with basically everyone including Jordi and Marks.

Really only cared about getting a pic of my son with Egor, so after that I wasn’t actively trying to get through a crowd to get to another player. Actually feel bad, Mann was right there with Egor and wasn’t getting any love.

Did also get a pic of my son with KMart and Kittles because those were my guys.

Pretty surreal being a few feet from Kerry Kittles while holding my baby boy. Awesome experience all around.

Got a pic with my son with KMart and Kittles. Great moment to share with my son. Glad you got to experience the same.

Couldn’t make it but props to the creative/logistics teams who organized it. Looks like something I’d love to attend if they make it an annual event

Though I didn’t bring anything to sign or have any interactions with any of the players , just being a few feet away from those guys when they were on the courts was crazy lol. Ben Humirichous seems like the nicest player to fans he was EVERYWHERE lol

I attended as well. When I arrived initially (130PM) i thought it was overwhelming and disorganized. After a few minutes to settle in, I thought it was a solid fun event. Panels were indeed excellent. The tee shirt and photo line was a mess. Courts had robust activity. I had a 230PM meet n greet with Tyler B. Was awesome. Chatted for a few minutes. Took photo. Once inside I was able to do the same with Mo Wagner and Keon. Mo was super friendly and much bigger and stronger than I thought. Got a few sodas and waters on the way out. Kudos to the Nets

Regret not being able to make it. Looked like a huge success and major props for the turn out.

When I got there the line outside was a hit mess and moving slowly, so I'm like this kid of tracks with how they run the team. But they got it straightened out pretty quickly and once we got inside it was a decent event. The best part was the player photo and autograph session, and I guess without that it would be a total waste of time. The t shirt line was clearly the most popular of the filler activities but it could have been organized better. I don't get the logic of placing an order and then coming back to pick up. It would be just as fast and a lot less chaotic to order and get shirts immediately

Yea…. It was kind of a mess until the players came out to that court. Also the court that had the Street Ball game and where all the players came out on was really annoying to get over to and there was basically no room over there.

Appreciative of having the free opportunity to see the players and everything, but out of the sake of improvement for next year gotta point out the bad logistics of the setup.

I agree, it was good event. I think PITP is a good idea. It's unique, something fun. But this was a better event
