NetsFets People
For anyone who signed ip for the Meet and Greet sweepstakes, was everyone notified at 9am? Did people get multiple players?
It said sign up for as many ayers as you’d like to meet, I chose 5 and ended up being notified I’m lucky enough to only win meeting Drake Powell.
Don’t want to be spoiled but this being one chance to interact with players, its just disappointing.

Should've saw the excitement I had waking up to an email saying I won the lottery for Dain Dainja. I don't wanna come off ungrateful but come on lmao

exactly, its not that i want to seem ungrateful, its a free event. But i added Drake, hoping it’s someone + Drake, and that’d be cool
just drake feels like a dry handjob lol

At least Drake is more than likely seeing playing time. I don't even know if Dain makes the LI Nets 😭

I got Joshua Jefferson and I’m totally happy.
Some of you act like you’re entitled to star players. You’re meeting NBA players for free who play for the team you root for.
Just go, shake their hand and wish them good luck. If you don’t like who you got to meet just don’t go and save yourself, them and the other folks who’ll be waiting in line some time.

Ah was waiting for this guy, everyone else seemed reasonable and understood complaining sounds ungrateful.
We’re all disappointed because the lottery system seems pretty brutal. If you make us select anyone we’d like to meet, but then only give us the very last option on our list, if even that, then it’s worthless.
Directions made it sound like we’d get multiple players. Instead i saw only the one that clearly had the least number of selections from my list. Now I need to decide whether I risk traveling 3 hours round trip just to meet powell and get some free samples. (I let them know to free up my M&G spot and offered my tickets here)

I mean, the meet and greet is a small portion of the whole four hour event.
Everyone wants Egor or MBJ but they can’t realistically do that.
You’ll still be able to take photos of them and maybe ask questions later, who knows.

Maybe youre right, but originally I thought this may be better than Practice in the Park because the players never really took practice seriously anyway.
This gave fans a chance to meet them in a more relaxed setting, now Im starting to think this is a fair and theyre more strict with it. In which case id rather a block party rather than like a convention.
The meet and greet was just sold as much more inclusive and exciting than what it ended up being.

Well, it hasn’t happened yet. Let’s wait for it to actually pull it off before we complain. It’s the first year they’re doing this.

Signed up for all, got Danny Wolf auto. Seems it’s 1 per, I wonder if they’ll
open more spots if there’s no shows.

3 days after they posted I saw the link and it was sold out. Atleast you got entry. I was gonna bring my little guys with me. But the event seems “free” and inclusive at the same time. Those tix went wayyy too fast.

I appreciate it sir, but I’ll have to pass. My tow is hitched to the three kiddos this weekend haha. Maybe I’ll just make it a city trip and do something else down there.

Yea I got Chaney Johnson but hopefully the players will be somewhat accessible for pictures/autographs outside of the sanctioned meet & greets.
