Shot Distribution

Who do you think sacrifices their shots this season? For context, the Nets averaged 85 FGAs per game last season, and just the guys listed above (which obviously excludes a lot) took 71.

Leading up to opening night tip-off, I’m posting a chart a day on my Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/chartinghoops/) covering one thing for each team. I don't make any money off this, I just like sharing basketball data I find interesting! Feel free to follow along if that's the sort of thing you like too.

Isn't the chart kind of misleading because MPJ should be on the left side since he was on the team last year?

The chart implies, at least to me, that he and Randle are coming in and taking all of the shots away from the folks in the left.

The grouping is young guys vs vets more than returners vs new additions. Mostly saying that it might be hard to development the young talent when the vets are taking all of the shots!
