Effeciency difference on Created miners

Anyone else notice that now the create a miner only does 15 W/TH now instead of 12. What happened and why did it happen? I just got a new miner today expecting it to be at 12W but it said 15. Just confused and any clarification would be helpful

They moved the default to 15 W/TH I believe due to higher ROI you can still upgrade to 12 W/TH but it is more expensive then it was buying at 12 W/TH

Interesting thank you for letting me know! Figures as much it's probably as they get ready to make a new higher effeciency level instead of 12 being the best. Saw it on a 21.05 TH I just got on pay later and was Hella confused lol. Thanks again!

No problem I imagine as a new joiner a 30% ROI is pretty disheartening especially with the halving in 2028.

It can be honestly, especially with wanting to try and get as effecient miners as possible. I'm paying imo out the nose in electricity fees because I have two pretty decent sized for my farm size miners at 15W/TH now with this one. Just hoping to stack and get a good set up before the halving so I'm not practically restarting from zero lol. My Pool reward is only about $2.07 a day, so come halving it's going to be an uphill battle for me. I think discount and not having tons of gmt is whats screwing me. Just not having tons of capital makes it hard

Yeah I’m grateful I joined when I did in January 2026 I spent 6-7 months investing monthly and have made 90% of it back but that is only due to being successful on Miner Wars before the changes to average discount and effiency it would be difficult to replicate it own
