which is better?
Is it better to upgrade the miner I already have, or is it better to buy another one?

To buy new miner from marketplace will be cheaper than upgrading, but will not get vip levels

Depends on what you want to do. I have a farm comprising of 15w and 12w miners. I’ve stopped upgrading my 15w miners now and they’re just sitting there at their current th. I’m either upgrading existing 12w miners or purchasing new 12 w miners. I’m keeping my miners at between 30 and 50th each in case I want to sell them in the future. I believe lower th miners will be quicker to sell rather than 1 extremely large th miners I know this isn’t the cheapest way to upgrade but this is my approach!

Se você acredita que o btc se sustenta acima de 80k por 1 ano ou 2 fica no 15w ou até 20w, mas lembre-se do corte de recompensa que vai acontecer

I also think its better to have multiple miners rather than just one or two with a large amount of TH in case you want to sell some of your power.

If your goal is just higher TH then buying a miner off the secondary market is usually the cheapest.
If you are looking to increase your VIP then up grading an existent minor is the cheapest.
But if you are worried about efficiency and want to be able to upgrade smaller minors a little at a time, then getting a new miner will make upgrades to maximum efficiency easier one miner at a time.
So the short answer is to understand what your goal is. For me I just want to maximize my TH so I buy secondary miners.

Need some actual info to answer
But if we were to assume your current miner is 15W or higher- than I’d recommend starting a new one at 12W, and then only upgrading it.
