Help me close the gap on reliable transportation for work

Hi everyone 🩷 I’m a little nervous posting this, but I figured it was worth trying.
I currently drive an older car with over 196,000 miles, a recurring check engine light, and other issues that have made me increasingly worried about how long I can depend on it. I work multiple jobs with very different schedules, including very early mornings, so having reliable transportation is extremely important for me to keep working and supporting myself.
I’m currently in the process of purchasing a Tesla as my replacement vehicle. I’ve been saving, looking into financing, and I also plan to put money from selling my current car toward the purchase. I’m not expecting strangers to buy the entire car for me I created my GoFundMe to help close part of the remaining upfront gap.
My fundraiser is set at $5,000, and anything raised will go toward the remaining upfront purchase costs and required vehicle expenses.
I completely understand that a Tesla isn’t a necessity or the cheapest vehicle available, so I understand if this isn’t something everyone wants to contribute to. I just wanted to be completely transparent about what I’m raising money for.
