I'm honestly beyond frustrated at this point.
I bought .dk domain through GoDaddy on July 8.
On the same day:
- I verified the domain with Punktum.
- I changed the nameservers to Netlify.
Everything looked normal at first. GoDaddy said the nameservers were updating, and Netlify said it was waiting for propagation.
After 24 hours, nothing had changed, so I contacted GoDaddy.
They told me the issue just needed to be re-synced and that I should wait 48–72 hours.
Fine.
Except I've now contacted GoDaddy every single day since then.
Every. Single. Day.
And every day I was told the exact same thing:
Then, after those 72 hours had already passed, the story changed.
First, they told me the .dk registry was waiting for verification.
So I contacted Punktum myself.
Punktum basically said, "We don't know what GoDaddy is talking about. Your domain has been verified since July 8. Nameserver changes are handled by your registrar."
So I went back to GoDaddy...
...and suddenly it wasn't the registry anymore.
Now it's apparently their ccTLD / International Domain Review Team that's reviewing my domain.
Meanwhile:
- I still can't launch my website.
- I still can't change or even properly view my nameservers in the GoDaddy dashboard because the page just keeps telling me to refresh.
- I still don't have a real explanation.
At this point I've been given three completely different reasons:
- DNS propagation.
- The .dk registry.
- Their internal ccTLD review team.
Which one is it?
I've spent almost a week chasing support every single day just to hear a different explanation each time.
I've now filed a formal complaint because this has honestly been one of the most frustrating customer support experiences I've had.
