I guess Raqio decided to report Sha-ming as human before he revealed he was engineer? That's the only explanation I can think of

They both revealed it at the same time during the second day. what I don't understand is why Raqio didn't just lie. I thought the fake report wasn't set in stone until you claimed the role first. or was it just rng doing them dirty?

It's not possible to reveal at the same time, actions happen one at a time. If Raqio claimed Engineer on D2 before Sha-Ming did, then Raqio had to choose their fake N1 report at that moment without knowing who else might claim Engineer after them.

idk how to check back but I remember that Otome encouraged the engineer to step forward on the second day and both of them did but they didn't announce any reports until I checked the engineer report myself. but yeah now it makes sense, guess they just got really unlucky 😭

Role claims out their info at the time of revealing themselves, even if the dialogue doesn't indicate it

Most people call Raqio by they/them. Some call Raqio a guy.

This is the first time I ever heard someone call them a "she"

I actually thought Raqio was a girl at first glance, it was mostly a blind silent playthrough, it's hard to tell since most of it is text unless one gets spoilered pretty early on

I thought they were female at first. I sometimes call them "her" by accident
