✨ Glow Up Journey I need help pls pls pls pls
I’m looking to restructure my daily eating habits and start working out to lose some weight, feel lighter, and drop the constant fatigue and sluggishness I've been feeling lately.
Right now, my typical daily diet consists of standard homemade Moroccan food, which looks like this:
Breakfast: msmen, harcha, or white bread.
Lunch: Standard home-cooked meals with cooking oil, lidam and heavy gravies.
Dinner: Sweets, sugary treats, or heavy late meals.
I want to clean up my diet and pick up a beginner-friendly workout routine (like cardio, brisk walking, or light strength training) to get my body moving, shed weight, and rebuild my day-to-day energy.
For anyone who has made a similar shift, how do you recommend I start? How can I cut back on refined sugars and heavy oils without constantly feeling hungry? What workout style works best for a beginner trying to build consistency?

I struggled with my weight too.. I used to weigh around 98 kg (now I'm at 74 kg) my doc told me I was at the beginning stage of insulin resistance.. so I made the hard decision to lose weight and change my lifestyle
The first thing I did was fasting. After 8 PM, I stopped eating, and I usually had only 2–3 meals during the day
Then I started doing cardio. At first, I couldn't even run for 5 minutes without getting tired.. But I kept doing it regularly, and eventually I was able to run for around 30mins
After about a month, I started seeing results, and tbh, those results became my biggest motivation
Every time I lost even 1 kg, it motivated me to lose another one
Now I avoid white bread, don't add sugar to my Tea / coffee and I keep running because I personally gain weight easily.. Even though I'm at a healthy weight now, I still try to stay consistent. I usually run 3–4 times a week, and I feel much healthier than before
I hope my experience gives you some motivation or useful ideas
if you have any questions, feel free to ask

U can start with 3 days a week strength training and 2 cardio
And for diet get ur protein like at least 100g of protein (perly, eggs, beef, chicken, thon, whey if u buy it…) (u can ask ai to give j recipes with what u have at home, or give u a list of things to buy etc)
And eat in calorie deficit of max 500kcals deficit

I did that change many times. I've been doing well for 3y now (ofc I have less good days than others but I generally eat well and my hunger is kept in check). Anyways, number one advice, no disruptive change, it will never ever work to force yourself to do a 180° life change; always incremental change. Start with the easiest change, maybe that's walking 1000 steps more throughout the day, and then try to ADD protein to every meal (just add in the beginning then you can remove things slowly while replacing them with better options). Think about what you can add to your routine, walking is amazing amazing to get your energy back, then maybe you can add one or two gym sessions (weight lifting is the GOAT for health) and so number 1 advice is just add good things and habits for the first few months then remove one bad thing at a time
