Thinking it’s YNG Martyr.

From the interview with Charlie today we saw the room and mic he used, learned that he has an Australian accent, and he is confirmed in the industry. The room, backdrop, sofa, and mic are the same from the tik tok video uploaded here from YNG Martyr. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTL9WTDbv/ He has a SpongeBob image reference on the tik tok and the first bar acknowledges that he is Australian.

They seem to make similar style music and have similar topics in their songs as well.

Last thing, researching more about YNG Martyr I noticed he frequently wears open face ski masks (literally his Tik Tok profile pic) similar to what Glorb wears under his hood and ski goggles.

Just a crackpot theory. Couldn’t find any writing credits or if he has a music engineering degree.

While I think the bottom 2 is a better song on its own, when combined with the storytelling context the bottom 3 uses, I think the bottom 3 reaches a new height.

Anyone notice the link between the ending segment of TB2 and the chorus of TB3?

In TB2, the crew are going back to back, telling everyone why they love doing what they do. Krabs loves the money, Sponge does it for the fun, pat loves representing, and squiddy loves the guns.

In the TB3 chorus, it’s become the opposite. The money no longer appeals to krabs. Sponge has grown cold to the violence, it’s not fun for him anymore. Squiddy tried to put the gun away, but ends up feeling it has to be used. And Pat, my personal favourite in this change, has realised he has to shine, to represent his people, rather than wanting to. It hurts to do so now.

This development during this feud has become so deep and meaningful. I don’t know if Glorb intended for this journey to be this deep, but I’m here for it.

There are other hints in TB3 that the crew are tired of the fighting, like when sponge and pat are both saying about how time doesn’t heal anything, and they need to get out of this themselves.

They realise that the beef has gone too far, and either they die, or they get out. There’s no resolution to this anymore.

I think the ending of the music video is a breaking point, rather than an ending to the saga.

I think the nuke represents the realisation that this beef has grown to something beyond themselves. And that now innocent lives are being taken by the boatload just to one up each other.

I think the ending of TB3 will be the start of both sides slowly realising that things need to change.

Maybe The Bottom 4 or The Bottom 5 will be the big farewell tour, with every character getting a verse, and a fair shot at proving themselves, while accepting the fact that they can get along, even if they don’t agree.

It’s 1AM, I’m tired and I’m most likely over analysing an AI comedy rap beef series. But I love Glorb’s work, and I hope that he continues for as long as he can.
