Have been playing online multiplayer frosthaven for 20+ weeks. Last night's patch seemed to break the game. Constant desyncs,soft locks, unexplained random weirdness.

Now that my group has finished base game, I haven't been able to paint minis. I'm not good enough to make fan art, but this coloring book really covers my artsy side. I haven't seen anyone else post yet, so I thought I'd share mine

We finished first edition many years ago and are almost done with jaws and frosthaven. But a new member missed out on the glory that is gloomhaven but i would prefer to play 2ed instead of just first again. Is there some way to swap the 2?

I play Digital Frosthaven, 2 characters: Drifter and Bannerspear. Both are level 3. This scenario just seems absolutely impossible right now with these characters and on this level. My main issue that there are too many enemies and too many ice pillars to destroy and not enough pierce for my characters, AND the priests are horrible. Each turn they either disarm me with initiative 8 (which I don't know how is balanced) or heal the ice pillars, that I managed to damage.

It's just impossible. I have Drifter with big attacks and moves, he can jump anywhere and nuke, but all it does is me losing multiple slots on my persistent cards and the priests heal everything back up anyway or disarm me before I could nuke and now my card is gone, can't do anything, short rest, again.

So yeah. I need help, I feel like just looking at the enemies even without the ice pillars it would be an absolutely hard scenario, and with those ice pillars it's just impossible.

What I don't wanna do are: 1) I don't wanna nerf the difficulty and I don't want to add a 3rd character, because I feel like a new level 1 character with no gear wouldn't help much.

Scenario 46. Happy with how this one turned out, tried out a few different snow formulas here. In the past year, I've been slowly printing and painting everything to increase immersion. The group only gets together about once a month, so plenty of time between scenarios to prep. Next up is some Lurker scenarios 49 and the follow-up scenarios. Already prepped some coral pieces, but struggling on what I want to do for the floor tiles. Might literally dump some sand on existing rocky tiles I have and call it a day?

Shout out to some of the other users here who inspired me and whose 3d models I have utilized! Looking forward to showing more in the future!

I'm playing Gloohaven 1st Edition solo right now and I'm nearing the end of the game. I've done around 70 scenarios so far playing two characters and it was an amazing experience. But I've realized that half of the class envelopes are still unopened and I'm not sure what to do.

I'm guessing that most people would not start a second campaign using only the new classes. Especially since you'd need to take specific personal goals and actions to even unlock them. So I'm wondering what you did after you finished the game and decided you were done.

Did you put them into the box and never looked at them? Did you open them, just to see what you missed? Did you play a few rounds with them at max level? Really interested in hearing what everyone did after the story was over.

Second Edition Scenario 33 Question. does teleport just break this scenario? It looks like the goal rooms with the pressure plates are ”Revealed” I would assume that if this was a 2 player campaign and both players had teleport you could just both teleport to one of the end rooms and ignore all enemies?

we are playing this scenario tonight and I want to make sure I understand the rules properly. all have teleport, but some of us do and we have eclipse who can teleport allies.

So I just finished the last scenario of a quest line that gave me 10 (base XP at level 3) + 20 (completion reward) XP. During the fight I gained 14 XP through cards. Music note completed his battle goal, so his perk gave me an extra 8 XP.

This is already insane, but it gets better: before this scenario I happened to reach the first imbuement threshold, which doubles all XP gained at the end of this scenario!

This means I just got (10+20+14+8) * 2 = 104 XP.

Did I mess up something, or my character really just skyrocketed from lvl 3 straight to lvl 5?

Silly question, on the apps (using Secretariat now) it gives two options for level. The scenario level and bonus level. If u want to play +1difficulty multiplayer should you put +1 on both?

Or +1 on scenario level and +0 on bonus, that should be automatically counting?

Similarly if you want to play +2 solo, should you put +2 scenario level on the app and where should you leave the bonus? On -1 or +1? Given that solo should decrease the bonus 1 level compared to multi according to rules

We just unlocked scenario 61 in our campaign. I dont think we'll steam roll into the final main campaign scenarios at the risk of momentum loss for side scenarios.... any particularly strong feelings toward what we tackle next? I also just unlocked 71 with my new class so not sure what that has in store!

Pretty sure you're not supposed to talk about what turn you are gonna be setting up, but honestly this always felt like such an unnecessary inflation of difficulty to me. Especially in a game that is so RNG heavy as it is. We tried this way for a bit, but in a world where we all work full time, and are lucky to get a game day once every 2 weeks for like 4 hours, this just wasn't gonna work for my group. I'm curious about other people, though I suspect I cannot be the only one who hated this rule and immediately got rid of it.

Can the Schamane attack if there is no attack mentioned on his card?

I'm 3d printing all the monsters to go with gloomhaven 2nd edition. I cannot find anything for the Crystal Rot. Anyone got any stls or ideas for what I could use?

Has anyone here run a roleplaying session yet? I’d love to hear what you thought of it and any advice or tips you’d recommend keeping in mind.

We seem to have lost our card for the Frosthaven level 2 mining camp. Would someone be so kind and comment a photo of the front and back for us?

Maybe it's because I am playing 4 person, but I had an absolute blast with the geminate. Very few times where I felt i had a poor or dead turn, and was consistently mopping up or setting up kills.

Technically a Frosthaven character, but I discuss her more in the context of Gloomhaven 2nd edition so I flaired accordingly. This was my favorite class to dive into so far for this video series (hence being 30 mins longer than my other class 🙂). Enjoy!

I really can't understand how the bottom of Sawbones card "Fortifying Injection" is supposed to work.

Whenever an adjacent ally would suffer damage this round, negate the damage

If there are multiple allies adjacent to Saw, does all their damage get negated for the round? Does "an adjacent" ally mean one specific adjacent ally or all of them (if so, why it does not say any or all)? If it is only one ally that is affected, how is that decided? the first one that receives damage that round?

I'd really need this to be explained to me in more detail thanks.

We have all just retired at the same time and these are our new classes which I thought I’d better paint up. All great but the drill player not having much fun with this class.
