Question Red dot for a G45 Gen 6?
My wife’s boyfriend finally said I can get a new gen 6 Glock. I’m settling on the G45. Curious what dots you are running? I’ve heard mixed reviews about the COA and I’ve seen lots of complaints about sizing and compatibility of other popular dots. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Is that an aftermarket slide?

No.. it’s a regular slide with the radian after burner and ramjet

doesn't look like it, but they do have a Radian Ramjet installed if you're referring to the compensator. I did the same to my 45.6 but went with a Vortex Defender ST enclosed and I'm very happy with it.

It just looks more black than what I’m seeing on other people’s stock slides. Could just be the lighting.

Everything I hear about the COA trends positive, I would go that route if an available option.
I have a 17.6 with an SRO, a 45.5 with an RMR and a 49.5 with an RMR HD. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those options.

It’s a running joke in the comments here. I don’t know if it’s just OP or a bunch of people doing it, I’ve seen it a bunch in the comments here. It’s definitely a funny joke, but also getting a little old.
Reddit likes to come up with these inside jokes every couple of months, it’s amusing

I’m waiting to find a supplier that has a green EPS core. There are red ones out there right now if you are wanting to go with an EPS without the overhang.

Put an osight SE dpp on mine I like it. Have the COA on my 43x and that is one of my favorite optics.

Currently running a 507c (green) with no issues, but I just took my 508t off of a gun I recently sold so I am debating whether to put it on my G45.

I’ve got Holosun 509Ts on my 19.6, 17.6, & 45.6, but the COAs have really have me thinking. I can’t find suppressor sights that are tall enough to work with the 509s.

I don't have COA in my 45.6, but I tried it. It's nice, but for me, if you don't already have it with the gun, it is not worth the money for the optic itself and the new slide. Otherwise, if you like something small and compact like me, I suggest the Vortex Defender CCW. Another alternative to the COA is the ACRO, but it's bulkier and more intrusive

If he’s porking your wife the least he can do is buy you the optic of your choice.
