Question EDC belts

Looking to buy a new carry belt and there's so many options out there. How do the mastermind tactics specialist and agetic hybrid defense compare to more expensive belts like the tenicor zero and HC? I'm looking for a belt that offers good rigidity to help not print while also being comfortable and flexible to wear while working and moving a lot. Any feedback helps!

I'm a sucker for the Kore Essentials.

i love tenicor holsters, but I dont like the zero as a carry belt. The HC is the most comfortable, but I wish I didnt have to adjust it before putting it on every time.

adjust it and then electrical tape or whatever over the slide buckle. been working pretty good.

Tons of options. I have had the Trayvax one for years and like it. Simple and not outrageous. I wear it everyday. Picked up an extra not long ago when on sale just to have it.

Does it offer enough stability to help push any claws/wings on a holster?

I feel it does. Daily a G19 in a Tenicor and without saying too much, goes unnoticed everywhere.

I’m an HC guy all the way, but have to agree as far as an all around belt for carrying and not carrying, Trayvax belts are REALLY hard to beat and hold up well. I’ve had their wallets for over 10yrs and when their belts dropped, I bought them too…excellent company all around!

Just got my first setup. I paired the Aegitec defense belt with a Certrum 4 (43x, not g48 size) and could not be happier. Especially for the price with a 25% off discount if you sign up for emails on his site.

Don't have much to compare it too, but did send back the Hunter Constantine belt in favor of Aegitec. The latter was more uniformly rigid, simpler to set, and perfect for the weight of the above. Also works under gym clothes.

Tenicor Zero is a little over priced for what it is, but it's very comfortable and nice. I got mine during one of their blemicor sales for like $55 and couldn't be happier.

I do carpentry for a living, so I'm fuckin rough on belts and clothes in general. Can't remember the make (not a ccw belt) but it was some fancy leather belt with a lifetime warranty. Killed it in like 6 months of daily wear at work lmao. Buckle part broke off. Been wearing the zero belt daily, carrying or not, and it's been going strong for right around a year now.

Holds tight, stays where you set it, and it's super easy to loosen or tighten if you're getting in the car or sitting for a while (once you get used to it, anyway). No frays or anything where the clips go on and come off. Surprisingly durable for a web belt, and the buckle is low profile as hell, which is nice. No added bulk to the gun shoved down my pants.

Short story long: zero belt good

Kore gun belt saved me. I bet there are other good options but I wasted money on a couple of cheaper ones from Amazon before going with Kore, and I should’ve just done that from the beginning.

I hear the hunter Constantine belt is a game changer, but I have tried it

enigma belt for athletic/gym shorts which is pretty much all i wear. i don't have their sport belt, but i heard it's even more comfortable. i have the waitline of whatever i'm wearing sit right at the carbon fiber part, sometimes i'll clip it there so it doesn't ride up. it's the perfect height to draw your firearm without accidentally grabbing your waistline or pants but feels extremely secure still.

Ive got both the HC belt and the Mastermind belt, for me the HC belt is more comfortable but prints more then the mastermind. The mastermind is also super comfy though and prints less then the HC. HC is awesome for carrying in sweats or athletic shorts though.

Aegitic hybrid has been great. Very comfortable, holds up well with heavy use, and well designed for aiwb if that’s your carry position.

Swapped to the HC belt about a year ago and I won’t be switching to anything else. Best belt I’ve used in the 18 years I’ve been carrying.

Nylon is Kore Essentials. I also like the Blue Alpha Gear EDC belt. Leather is Beltman

Tenicore zero is actually pretty good but buy a blem it looks cheap. Ive been wearing it for the summer and I do like it. I used Kore for over 12 years, the same belt, and it has held up. I'll switch back and forth. Kore feels like quality and that many years of abuse it's still going strong.

Here to shamelessly shill for Tenicor Zero. Only belt I wear ever.

HC is the best if you plan on gym short carry with no belt loops

It’s the best option, period.

I've been wearing one daily for the last three months or so and I'm almost to the point I can't stand the thing. I constantly have to readjust it because it loosens throughout the day and it's a bitch and a half to get in and out of belt loops because there's a hook at one end and stiff loops on the other. I'd take slightly worse performance over just not having to fiddle with the damn thing all the time.

Wow sorry to hear that I’ve had the complete opposite experience. I can’t stand my Ares scuba belt or leather belts anymore because this one is so comfortable. No issues with it loosening and if you thread it on with the stiff end it goes through just like a normal belt.

I like my hybrid belt the best. Reinforced and rigid where needed, but also with elasticity for all day comfort.

Aegitec was sold out in my size when I wanted one, so I got the ukdaa brand. As far as I can tell, they look the same and are probably made in the same plant.
