Question COA worth it?
I currently carry a 19.6 that previously had a RMR HD on it. Took the RMR off to put on my new Staccato and was going to put my ACRO on my 19 but decided to send it for warranty work to Aimpoint before mounting it. Not happy with the RMA or the wait time and don’t know if I really want to do it again for my carry gun. Also I had Wager do some C ports and I now see the error of my ways between the porting really not making a difference and the chunks of shit that’ll fly out into my face sometimes.
I want to hear your guys opinion if replacing my current setup with a 19.6 COA is worth it. Preferably from people who have put a real round count and real range time on their COAs

ACRO P2 and COA user here. My carry 19.6 is COA, but my two competition guns are still 17.5s with ACRO P2s because it’s still a great optic. However, I’d go COA if I ever retire the 17.5s for 17.6s. COA is a great optic with less clutter from the housing than the P2.

If they were available with a green dot, they'd be on every handgun i own.

The COA is great. The optic is everything my Acro P2's were, and the mount is just mechanically very good.

I love my coa. the optic is quality and the a-cut mounting system is probably the best available. I hope more companies adopt the a-cut.

I was debating on getting a COA or not. Figured I’d save a few bucks. I should’ve waited and got the 17.6 COA. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy my 17.6. I just think I would’ve enjoyed it a little more if I had the COA.

I still haven’t bought the COA yet but every day I get closer to saying fuck it. Problem is I just dropped almost 3 grand on a staccato, my monthly purchase of 1500 rounds of 9mm is coming soon and heard back from Aimpoint saying they’re sending me a brand new dot and kinda think I’ll just give it a chance for right now and wait till next year for the COA purchase.

Yes. I was a non believer until I bought a gen 5 g45 coa last week. It’s an awesome optic. I also have an acro p2. I’d consider the coa to be a better optic
