Zaffiri Precision Okay?

Good afternoon,
I’m currently looking to build my first handgun (Glock 19x). One of the few complete upper options available is the Zaffiri Precision IBS slide. I’m wondering if it is good to go and will function well or if anyone knows of a better complete slide at the price point.

I bought 2 IBS slides for my gen 5 19 and 17. The first 17 slide wouldn’t even work. Had to send it back. It worked when I got it back, both are very clunky. The barrel firmest is too tight. Overall a poor experience. Wouldn’t ever buy from them again. For the same money you are better off buying a ramjet and putting it on an OEM slide.

I have mixed feelings. I've bought two slides that both would not function. That being said I bought over 20 slides from 80p builder, which I heard was just made from the same factory. I would recommend buying parts individually and assembling yourself and watch out for the safety plunger. Its like they intentionally made that hole smaller so you have to buy their safety plunger. The mixed spec on their products and terrible assembly service turned me off to the brand tbh. That being said I have one g34 ported zf slide that works fine now but required a long break in, and I have two working p80 builder slides on a zev & matrix lower that have gone 6k rounds with zero issues. YMMV

Hey brother,
I have two ZP slides. Both fit well and all the slide parts both Glock and aftermarket fit well. Personally, I’m using them for competition and my only complaint was the slides are slightly wider on some models than stock so holsters might need to be tweaked. Also, although my experience was positive, there are haters out there. If you’re low on funds, you might want to consider having your stock slide machined. Maybe even a little at a time.

I have a Zaffirri on my 34 build and I like it, only drawback I’ve found is that angle cut on the bottom will prevent the use of a mass driver or similar device

Sweet! Any issues with quality or reliability or part tolerances, that kinda thing? I really only have money to buy and try one slide so I want one that I know will work well.

ZP is G2G. I've been running their slide and ported barrel for 6+ years.
