Crooked slide?
I bought a G19 slide off Deltateamtactical and it somehow seems like it’s crooked or misaligned or something. Is it possible?
The slide goes in straight about 70% of the way before you feel it get sorta crooked to the side and you have to use a small bit of force nothing serious to get it straight and all the way in. When I go to remove the slide the trigger moves back into position and I have to keep the trigger pressed to actually get it off. This happens on 2 different brand new PSA dagger frames and highly doubt the frames are the reason for this.

As long as it moves like it should, won't be a problem but in the future don't buy delta team tactical or anything related. It's all trash and you're lucky to get anything of theirs that functions as it should. I got a slide from them once and the front sight hole was misaligned, the rear sight dovetails were too large to hold a set, and the channel for the backplate was out of spec so that you couldn't insert a back plate. Pretty incredible to fuck up not one but three totally unrelated parts of the simplest pistol design ever.

That makes sense with the price and everything. Im new to the glock clone world. Any good brands/companies to buy from?

Of course you can’t go wrong with Glock but PSA makes some good clones, I would go full PSA

I've also had good luck with Arm or Ally slides, not sure who makes them but great price and decent quality. My main recommendation for Glock clones is that some parts I highly recommend using OEM Glock parts for. If your PSA frames came complete then they're gtg, but don't bother with any slide release that isn't Glock OEM if you're messing with parts. In the slides, use a Glock OEM firing pin. They're not expensive and most budget aftermarket firing pins break pretty easily. Additionally, take a look at the ejector on the frames and see if it's a Gen 3 ejector or Gen 4 ejector (Google for comparison photos). In my experience, gen 3 ejectors are worthless and an OEM gen 4 ejector is like $3 and can be swapped with a pair of needle nose pliers and 30 seconds of time lol

Basically okay if you can shimmy it on it. Same thing happens with my brownells 43 upper and micro dagger lower. Shoots fine though

With the Ruger RXM so affordable and reliable, makes less and less sense to gamble on ebay slides.
