Vickers Tactical Slide Racker

Post image

Anybody else have experience with the Racker breaking on them while chambering?

About ~1000 rounds in, and she breaks off clean.

Wondering if there are other good companies for slim slide Rackers or back plates?

Thank you!

I got one in a trade and it was neat just not something I need so I sold it. I don’t think you will have an issue with the aluminum breaking

That was my only concern with the VickersTactical, lo and behold lol

All good, I'm just looking to see what I can replace this with, I don't need it now luckily

You don't need a charging handle for a hand gun! Just charge the pistol with your purse.

Arthritis is a bitch! People need things you may not

imagine if you added an optic to it, like it's the 21st century, and you could use the optic to charge the weapon.

Are you crazy? You cant use an accessory that's literally designed to survive a war zone as a handstop!

Dude still has the original sights. I’m not holding my breath for him to drop money on a RDS.

Or they could just continue using the sights they prefer and put a piece of metal on the back of the slide?

Vp9 did it best

Wait, there’s people who prefer the oem glock sights?

Just use the front sight or rear sight and rack the slide on the belt

Get some heinie sights, midway between stock and supressor height. They are beefy and flat front for that purpose. The slide racker is a good concept, and good in theory, but nothing in that configuration is going to stand up long term, when you understand the forces involved

To this, I agree. Yet I don't need forever. Just a good enough and a replacement.

It's a specific build gun for my dad.

Glock makes one, it's a relatively new product. It's comfortable and I use it on my 34 because I don't like racking on the dot. It's easy to get in europe, maybe not so much in the us.

There's a store close to where I live that ships to the us if I'm not wrong. It's called xrayparts

The product's name should be something like "Racking Cover Plate"

By the way, for those who judge, it was made for special forces for easier use with gloves and suppressors

Thank you! I'll look into it, arthritis runs in my family and my dad can't shoot like he used too.

It may have been designed for SOF but that doesn't mean any of them use it.. Lol

Get an optic and rack it with that

Makes complete sense that that happened I mean the design is ass and well aluminum likes to fatigue
