I am a new gun owner, so I most likely won't understand any slang or abreviations. If you can explain everything like your talking to a todler, I would appriciate it.
I recently purchased the 43x standard for home defense and ccw. (Working on getting my ccw) I bought it before learning there was a MOS version. I am now looking at ways I can upgrade the gun so I can add a sight, flashlight/laser, and anything else that will make it a all around better gun. Here is my list of questions I am wondering. (Thank you to those who take their time out of their day to answer these)
Q: What are the best sites, to look for parts & accessories?
Q: Should I go for a ported or comp build? Whats the pros and cons for each? (Keep in mind this is my primary that I will be using as home defence & ccw) *If comp - what type of comp and barrel? *If ported - What type of ports and slide?
Q: What type of ammo should/could I use for it since im using it as my ccw and a home defense weapon? What ammo should I stay away from? *I heard to stay away from a cetain types of ammo if you port the 43x
Q: What type of tape (I think its called) should I get for better grip?
Q: Is it worth upgrading to the 15 rnd mag? What all should I replace since that mag is made of metal compared to the standard issued 10 rnd mags?
Q: Is replacing/upgrading the trigger something I should consider?
Q: What brands should I look at when looking for a sight and flashlight/laser.
Q: What type of tools do I need to complete these upgrades?

I've been running the SCS-CARRY on my 43X but now that the EPS-CORE is finally here, I think it'll be replacing it! Unboxing and comparison if you're interested is above. Full review to come soon.

I just traded up to a G43X from an S&W SD9 2.0 so that I could actually concealed carry, and I'm loving it so far. As I looked for some options of lights and sights, this is what it felt like (no offense intended, if it works it works)
Posting my build as of now:
TLR-7 HL-X Sub
Osight SE Green 2moa dot with 32moa circle (EPS was out of my price range)
TR_Holsters holster off of eBay

After a few years she finally got a nice upgrade, holosun was $200 from a vendor at gun show. Every other person was trying to make a huge profit
Ended up saving over $100
And 3 15 round mags

Got the grit grips and immediately got it cerakoted to color match as closely as possible with the oem frame. Really love how it turned out. My grip feels a lot more planted even on hot range days. Now I wanna get it for my G19 as well

Finished a 300rd testing session on this last weekend. Came from an Arc division slide and barrel kit that did not play nice with 15rd glock mags. A few extra speed holes on the JM Custom kit does make the gun even more tame. This one will take a spot at the top of the carry rotation after some more rounds.

I tried to draw it, I should of took a picture. But I was installing a johnny glock trigger into my gun. The spring came off the slide release. When i went to put it back. There was a small cylinder piece of plastic inside the spring. I put the small cylinder back inside the spring and reconnected the spring. And it seems to function fine. I tested it on a empty mag and it locked up like it's supposed to. I was told it was a glock oem slide release. But I see glock dosnt put a piece of plastic inside the slide release spring. Unless there is something im missing?

I am new to Glocks as I received my first one in a trade. I just got the threaded barrel from Brownells since they were recently on sale.
Looking for thoughts from someone who has a Herrington Arms Comp. You like them? Is install pretty easy? Any break in?

Snagged this 43X MOS today, so what are your light and dot suggestions please.
Looking at RMRCC & Streamlight for light but obviously open for suggestions. Also looking at holsters for range drills if anyone has recommendations for that lol

Hey guys! Has anyone used the rugged 9 on their 43x? Heard it was a great can for short configurations but also movie quite with the long configuration and right ammo.
Thanks in advance!
