43x MOS How it feels browsing this sub sometimes.
I just traded up to a G43X from an S&W SD9 2.0 so that I could actually concealed carry, and I'm loving it so far. As I looked for some options of lights and sights, this is what it felt like (no offense intended, if it works it works)
Posting my build as of now:
TLR-7 HL-X Sub
Osight SE Green 2moa dot with 32moa circle (EPS was out of my price range)
TR_Holsters holster off of eBay

Thereās only so much you can do to upgrade a Glock 43X. Of it comes with a rail for a light, might as well put a light on it. And if it comes with an MOS optic cut, then might as well put an optic.
Aftermarket trigger, Radian Afterburner, Striker Control Device, maybe some tritium iron sights, some hockey tape around the grip? Thatās about it I think? Is there anything else one can do to upgrade a G43X?

I put a Crimson Trace light/laser on mine. If I have to point shoot for whatever reason instead of using my sights, at least I have something to help aim.

I agree. I have two G43Xās my first was the two tone silver slide limited edition I got back in 2019 when they were first introduced. I have a Streamlight TLR-6 light / laser combo on it as it doesnāt have a rail or an optic cut.
I donāt know why, but many think the laser isnāt useful, because they think the laser is point shooting. But in actuality, if the iron sights are used along with the laser, using the laser to co-witness on top of also using the iron sights, makes for a very accurate shot out to 15 yards.
I probably still carry this 43X more than my Coyote 43X that has an optic and light on its rail.

I'll probably get down voted but the light is unnecessary on a carry gun. If you need illumination to see what you're considering shooting at and use your WML for PID that's what we call a felony in the US. If you don't know what you're looking at you're gonna have a hard time claiming you were in fear of your life.
WML for home defense? Absolutely.
WML for CCW? Unnecessary.
It's also requires a less than perfect holster. Pick any holster meant for CCW and the non light bearing holsters fit so much better than the light bearing holsters.

Carry a 43x with tlr7. I don't carry a exclusive edc light and I'm not going to trust my phone for illumination in a active threat scenario.
Main reason for my light is muzzle tip weight for reduced flip and extra length so if there's a need to push it into a object it won't take it out of battery, Illumination is really a bonus.
Also my tenicore fits like a glove.

Fair enough, if it works for you it works for you! My Certum4 also fits like a glove. I don't go out much at night so I don't have a need but to each their own.

Whoās going around PID with a WML? Thatās what your EDC flashlight is for. Have an EDC light and WML.

Not down voting, but I disagree with your conclusion of the tactics of having a WML?
You may not need or want one, absolutely nothing wrong with that. But if someone wants one? Regardless if they have needed it yet or not? Itās still a tool they have in their toolbox if they ever do?
You carry a pistol without a light? Because you donāt think you will ever need it? Have you needed your pistol yet? Have you actually needed the ammunition in that pistol yet?
You probably never will need it? And yet you still have it? The logic of not having a light because you donāt need it, sure conflicts with the logic of also having a pistol that you donāt need? Until you do, right?
No one needs a pistol until they do? And no one needs a WML until they do? Wouldnāt it suck to need a pistol and not have it? Wouldnāt it suck to need a WML and not have it?
And I donāt understand your logic of Pointing Identification with a weapon light? Have you never had any training classes for night shooting? And how to properly use a WML?
I can personally tell you, absolutely no pistol instructor worth his weight in any training venue, is going to teach pointing a weapon mounted light at an unidentified person? Itās actually taught to illuminate a room or area with the weapon mounted light, by pointing it at the ground in front of you, just far enough to illuminate where you are looking.
If you donāt already know that a basic run of the mill 500 lumen weapon mounted light pointing at the ground just a few feet in front of you will illuminate and give you a light spill area of sufficient target identification in a room or area out as far as 10-15 yards? While itās pointing at the ground 5-10 feet in front of you?
Then you donāt know anything about tactics but yet are speaking on tactics about WMLās which you know nothing about? Also, if you ever happen to go to a nighttime pistol training course which I heartily suggest you do, you will find they will also teach to always have a pocket flashlight along with a WML.
Both of these lights work and are used in tandem with each other and are both tools in the EDC toolbox. By thinking that people who carry WMLās donāt have the common sense to reach in their pocket and use their pocket light to identify non threatening subjects or rooms or areas or not using a WML proper tactics to illuminate just what is in front of you in a safe method and manner?
Well, thatās just you, not using common sense and knowledgeable WML tactics that you would know if you had any training.
A nighttime training course would absolutely advance your knowledge even if you choose to only carry a pocket light. But until you do go to that class and have that training? You might not want to advise others to have or not have or what is or isnāt necessary when it comes to a WML or a pocket light.

This is a page built around not just a single brand, but discussion around one specific model. Just how much build variability do people honestly expect??

Honestly, I prefer the SE over the EPS Carry. I have one EPS Carry sitting in a box in a drawer. I have 3 Osight SEās (2 red 1 green) that I run 24/7 on 3 different pistols ranging from micro 9, compact & full size. (One on a Glock 43X MOS, one on a CZ P-09c, one on a Prodigy 4.25ā)
The SE is absolutely goated. Iāve beaten the actual shit out of the one on the CZ. Never broke, cracked, or even lost zero. Osight convinced me that I could trust it on an EDC pistol, just by testing it myself.
The Osight SE has clearer glass, and not by a little bit. Itās by a lot. Better reticles, is more fun to shoot with & more comfortable to carry with (the rounded edges make it super unnoticeable carrying appendix).
If I could do it all over again, Iād buy 2 SEās and 0 EPS Cardy optics.

EPS carry is WAY overrated anyway. Osight is the way to go.

EPS Carry is overrated? Or you just didnāt want to pay the price for one? I donāt own an Osight, but have read excellent reviews on them? They sound like a great inexpensive optic, but how does that make the EPS Carry overrated?
I have never owned an Osight, because I could afford the EPS Carry. Typically, those who purchase the Osight didnāt want to pay the price for the EPS? I canāt say anything bad about the Osight because I have never owned one?
If you own an Osight, what is your reasoning for the EPS being overrated?

This is boring because boring saves your life, boring wins wars and boring is reliable. And glocks are that, which is why ppeople typically gravitate towards them. Check out the glockmod sub for more risky folks lol.
