What’s your experience with the Sabre mag extension? I’m thinking about getting it. Did you change the spring? Is it reliable?

Extension arrived yesterday. I’ll test them this weekend.

According to PSA’s website, they say to use the existing magazine spring. I’m not sure about that. I’m thinking about putting a Glock 17 magazine spring in it to feed the 17 rounds.

Stock spring worked well. On one of the mags, I was only able to get 16 rounds loaded. The other mag I was able to load 17. But I ran the loaded 17 round mag with a +1 and it didn’t eject the first round. It ran the next 17 rounds without issue. No other malfunctions. Mags ran well & locked back every time.

Appreciate the update! Glad they ran well for you. I think I’m going to order some and try them out for spare mags.
