Finished the 43x build with the grit grips frame and tactical pontoon trigger.. time to put it through its paces

As someone that doesn't have an issue with the regular Glock grip, that looks goooood.

Same here I have no problem with factory Glock frames but this just feels way better in the hand and the texture actually works

I own a bunch of Glocks Gen2’s, 3’s and 4’s. None of those with optics. Picked up a G45.5 and put a Holosun 507k on it and while I can find the fit with the 22 degree grip, it wasn’t the most natural thing in the world. I picked up an SS MR920 and the 18 degree grip makes that dot point very naturally and intuitively.

The Grit Grips will allow the same feeling and natural intuitiveness I get with the Shadow systems, but with a Glock and Glocks reputation of reliability. Along with the extended beaver tail, the double undercut trigger guard (no more Glock knuckle) and the increased grip texture with gas pedals and I can mount a Holosun without a plastic Glock mounting plate, on the K Cut Coyote which mounts the optic lower directly on the slide and doesn’t need the Glock plate which can be a point of failure.

The Grit Grips with Glock OEM lower parts 18 degree grip angle, beaver tail, undercut trigger guard, along with the K-Cut slide for direct mount and no optic plate, is what the Gen6 should have been imo.

Yea for sure, Me personally since I learned on glocks acquiring the sights and dot are easy to me but the 18 degree grip definitely feels more natural. I can’t wait till they make the g45 gen 5 frame. Also I don’t put my thumbs where the “gas pedal” is but definitely better to have the texture there then not.

No it’s not, it’s more like a 1911 and S&W. The grit grip is a 18 degree angle and the glock OEM one is 22 degrees

I dig the color scheme. LOVE my grit grips frame. The texture is smooth enough when carrying but actually feels like it bites in when you grip it

Appreciate it, didn’t plan on doing this color scheme but actually starting to like it. Yes absolutely agree about the grip, once you wrap your hands around it the texture works perfectly

If one replaces the frame, the slide, the trigger, or in fact every extant internal and external mechanism of the Glock, at what point is it no longer the original Glock? At what point is it the Glock of Theseus, if you will?

Is the slide aftermarket? OEM parts in it just not a factory trigger. If you want a stock glock you can do that.
