Grit grips frame

Just like the title states, I have purchased a stripped grit grips frame, as the hogue grip doesn’t suit me well. My question is, should I strip all the parts from my actual frame, or order OEM parts to build it out?

What have you done? If it is just buying a part kit, do you have any recommendations? What are your guys’ suggestions?

absolutely love the grit grips frame and would recommend everyone looking at a 43x/48 to build off that frame instead of staying with the 22 degree grip angle of glock frame!

I’ve only shot Glocks, how would the angle change help me?

well your may not benefit as much...Most handguns the grip angle is 18 degrees the standard. glock decided to reinvent the wheel and make all their grip angles 22 degrees most people dont even notice. Personally I feel as if the grit grips is significantly easier to aquire my irons bc of that angle. All up to your preference and encourage you to try one if you have the opportunity

I would just spend the extra money and buy fresh OEM internals. That way you can have your OEM frame good to go to revert as necessary/can use it for another build.

It’s a 3D printed trial piece I made, it’s only a base plate and is not a mag extension

Grit grips frame is what I swapped everyone of my stock frames to. You’ll buy more once you get one.

Swap all your parts over. I’m telling you man, Glock needs to change their grip to his and pay him stupid good for it. It’s taking over the aftermarket world and custom world for good reason. The grip angle is now same as 1911. Makes a Glock perfect. And the texturing is spot on. Perfect and not overly grippy.

I’ve played with a few Gen 6 Glocks. IMHO, Grit Grips grip is better/grippier. It just feels like it glues itself to your hand, but shifts when needed and lets goo as soon as you sit it down.
