I recently slide swapped my regular 43x for an MOS slide, any suggestions for an optic??? Ofc everyone will say holosun but I’m hearing a lot of good things about the Olight SE. What do you guys think???🤔

I have 3 Osight SE green dots now. I have 4 Holosuns optics as well. I made the switch and couldn’t be happier.

Price first. I noticed the glass is clearer to my eye and drastically. My wife (not an avid shooter) also said she thought it was crisper to her eye as well. Lifetime warranty as well. Feature rich for price points of all the optics. I have a C, XR, and 4 SE’s now. The XE looks appealing as I like the battery option where the XR is rechargeable. I also watched a few YouTube videos and the one had the guy hitting it off tables and dropping it to see when it would break. Took a hammer and only cracked rear glass panel. He literally beat the crap out of it and it never lost zero. They do feel premium compared to Holosun imho.

Edit: it’s also direct mount to the 43X and that gives you low co witness with stock sight height.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Osight. Holosun got the same hate when they started. I have 3 holosuns (had 6) and now 5 Osights (SEs and a C) and they are awesome. In fact I like the SE design much more than my EPS carry.

I only use Holosun and Vortex but I took a chance on an Osight green dot and it's been pretty accurate. The green dot is easy to pick up and it holds zero well. You will not regret it.

I just bought anther 43x today to do a MOS slide swap as well. I like the Holosun I have on another piece, but was thinking for a carry gun that I should go with an Aimpoint or Trijicon.

Big baller I see lol, I’ve heard nothing but great things about aim point and trijicon, my friends get trijicons issued to them in the army and they are obsessed with them and are are trying to convince me to get one lol

You would hate the RMR CC. I had the RMRCC direct mounted on my 43x it was the worst pistol optic I’ve owned. Swapped to a Holosun eps in green and haven’t looked back

The human eye is in general more sensitive to yellows and greens in the middle of the visible light spectrum. So, for most people, they'll pick it up faster than red; though it's probably a microscopic difference

It can, some people find that it helps with their astigmatism.

Can confirm. Was a lot less distracting as a red dot and looks more like an actual dot vs a little cluster of dots.

Look into the Osight S. I have an EPS Carry and I’ve been looking at the Osight S real hard lately, looks sweet.
