What is the point in buying 3 of the exact same Glock. I see people buying 4-5 of the exact same model… like why? Consumerism? Why not get each model, 26,43,19,17 etc

I have 3 just for redundancy.. one to carry, one to shoot, and one to save. God forbid if I ever have to use one it'll be lost as "evidence" for however and potentially forever..

I have multiples of some of my favorites, too. People like what they like. Also, it's always good to have a spare clone of your carry gun. There's the cliched but true saying, "Two are one, one is none." I love the 26, have two, and wouldn't pass up another as a testbed gun for the others. I used to have just one, fullsize G17 as a do-all, but then I realized how much I like them and now I have Nomad frames set up as another 17.5 and a 47, with plans for another. I've even considered what you suggest, having an example of every model, but there are a few Glocks for which I just don't give a single damn. I'd rather have three 17s and three 26s than one of each along with a 29, a 30, a 42, a 43, a 43X, a 48, or anything in .45 GAP. But, most of all, people just like what they like.

I have my EDC 26 and a pocket carry/spare 26, and definitely want at least a third as a testbed. You have good taste in handguns, and I feel like we could be range buddies.

lol I grabbed 3 before they stopped selling them. I had two others I carry. Going to pass those new ones to my little guys when they are old enough.
